Behind the seafood selection for two, for example, there is a veritable tasting menu, while at the same time the fantastic meat dishes bring tears of happiness to the eyes of other guests at the table - honorable!

05/05/2024: One of the few restaurants in Alghero where you eat really well. We went in April and ate Spaghetti alle Vongole and Fried Seafood, both were spectacular! The pasta was cooked to perfection and very tasty, the fried food was light and plentiful in quantity (not like other places where you pay 20 eur for 2 fried prawns...) I would go back a thousand times! Excellent and very friendly service too!

27/01/2024: Abbiamo mangiato in questo locale un sabato di Gennaio. Cibo ottimo, oltre le aspettative. Pochi piatti ma ricercati, soprattutto quelli di mare. Servizio gentile e attento a tutto. Vista mozzafiato!! El Barrio sempre una garanzia, anche perchè è uno dei pochi locali in zona sulla spiaggia che resta aperto tutto l’anno, bravi!

02/11/2023: Si rasenta la perfezione, anzi alla fine impeccabile, Antipasti, primi piatti di pesce di ottima fattura, per i giovani con noi avevamo preso invece hamburgher con patatine, veramente ottimi praticamente Gourmet. Servizio gentile, ma non impeccabile, ma ampliamente sufficiente per la location, fantastica con mare e colori bellissimi. PS: eravamo venuti per mangiare qualcosa di veloce, come è quasi possibile in ogni bar ristorante sul mare, siamo rimasti molto sorpresi, quando ci è stato risposto che si offriva solo servizio ristorante, alla fine ci è andata bene, perchè abbiamo mangiato molto bene a prezzo giuso, anche se spendendo più di quanto avevamo previsto con un panino o pizzette. vi si consiglia di provvedere per non perdere in futuro anche questi avventori.

28/03/2024: Quality food and a menu full of choice from first courses to composed dishes!! They also make pizzas. Inside there is a very nice games room where you can leave the children during dinner!! Special beers on tap.

02/05/2024: Food average and portions quite small. The fish was excellent, but really not enough. Duck breast rather below average and a bit rubbery and only two small pieces. Espresso strong and good. After stirring, the cappuccinos produced a brown foam that was undrinkable. Only scoop with a spoon. What annoyed me the most was the "coperto" 3 euro per person! And that included a small child who had no food! So 9 euros for three people. We originally went there for pizza, but they don't bake it until the evening. If it was in a different price range, we would be satisfied. But a small fish for 26 euro, two small pieces of duck breast for 25 euro, plus two coffees and a bottle of water for 65.50 is a bit much. I would rate the whole thing at 40 euros maximum.

09/02/2024: To be honest, based on reviews, I expected a lot. But the food was from average to really bad. The Culurgiones primi was the only one thing we really liked. Then the pasta was really average and the beef steak I got was almost unable to be chewed and I almosed choked on one piece because I was not able to process it. It was really undercooked but even then the steak meat should normally be tender. The service did not care much about us, in the end we waited like 30 minutes to ask for coffee. Really bad experience.

04/04/2024: Excellent choice when you want to eat a nice steak 🥩. Last night I went with my boyfriend. The two of us ordered a nice sliced ​​steak and a menu with a horse steak and other dishes. All the dishes that arrived were good, it's a shame that we weren't able to consume all the side dishes (baked potatoes, delicious) and the meatballs (excellent) because our bellies were full of meat 🤣.

29/03/2024: It is truly with great pleasure that I write this review because it was a unique experience. I went to this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion with my boyfriend, and without expecting it we found one of those places where you leave your heart, and above all the desire to return and be thrilled with authentic flavors and unexpected combinations. A great example of haute cuisine and excellence in Sardinia. The first impact was a well-kept room, which certainly does not lack touches of personality such as the bookcase that surrounds the gap that joins two adjacent rooms. The meter and all the dining room staff who accompanied us during the evening were impeccable, transmitting to us so much about the philosophy of their cuisine, the history of the ingredients and the place. Nothing has been left to chance and I am convinced that extreme courtesy is essential for the customer to have a complete and pleasant 360-degree experience. We were lucky enough to test the new menu on the day of its debut. I chose the 5-course vegetarian menu (Radici), while my boyfriend chose the 6-course omnivore menu (Memory). We really enjoyed the welcome aperitif, in particular the bao stuffed with chicken and the tartlet with goat yoghurt. Afterwards we were brought some excellent homemade bread with sourdough, accompanied by a generous portion of butter also made by them, whipped with saffron and dusted with fig leaf powder. To complete, breadsticks and an extremely tasty Villacidro oil. The vegetarian menu was one discovery after another, so much so that it's really difficult to choose the best dish! The first course on the menu is unforgettable, consisting of a thin pastry filled with asparagus cream, accompanied by various other preparations all based on asparagus, including a granita, and grated Sardinian truffle! Even the dish with the egg cooked at low temperature, crunchy onion, truffle and Sardinian flower foam and fermented apricot was a riot of flavours. My boyfriend, however, was particularly impressed by the potato gnocchi stuffed with crazy water. The delicious desserts concluded our experience. For me, a dessert starring the green apple. Biscuit base, almond cake filled with caramelized apples (very reminiscent of the flavor of strudel), apple foam, granita and fennel. For my boyfriend a caramel, carrot and coffee dessert. To end on a high note, a small pastry with a pair of ladyfingers (super!!) filled with strawberry cream, and truffle with bitter cocoa and mint. The dinner was a treat from start to finish, we will definitely be back and I highly recommend it. Congratulations to the whole team!!
