19/12/2023: Today I went to Bruno's for the first time. The lady at the counter is very courteous and helpful. The food (Sardinian gnocchi with meat sauce, breaded scallop with a side of spinach, a bottle of water and 2 sandwiches) was really good. What made me very happy was the courtesy of the staff, including the owner, and the atmosphere which is almost no longer found. It is the environment where you can find any type of person - and this makes me very happy - the absolutely interesting price of Euro 14.00. I will be back very often. Too bad they will be closed for holidays for the whole month of January. Advised.

06/04/2024: We stopped for a quick bite, and instead waited 20 mins for a beer and glass of wine, and got bad smelling hamburger. The table next to us, which was a local couple, ordered a second beer and almost finished it by the time we got our drinks. There were no other tables and no new customers since we came in. We saw that they cooked the hamburger on the outside grill, but the meat smells so bad, that we had to return it. It's a shame that such businesses exist. CLOSE or change your attitude towards tourists. Yes, we don't know Italian, but we just traveled 40 hours to get to your beautiful island....

06/04/2024: Bad food and rude service!! Waited to get a beer and a glass of wine for 15 min and the place was not busy at all. Ordered hamburger and tasted/smelled weird. I wanted to return it and they charged me for it. It's a shame that such bad places exist on this beatiful island.

08/12/2023: Oltre che la qualità del cibo offerto e la professionalità, la grandissima cortesia. Non si ha mai la sensazione di aver chiesto la luna nel pozzo. Cosa che, in un posto come Alghero dove si ha sempre paura di chiedere un caffè al barista, fa la differenza.

Noi abbiamo ordinato un buffet e il menù per un pranzo completo e abbiamo ricevuto tantissimi complimenti per entrambi!! La presentazione dei piatti è davvero gradevole e tutte le pietanze che abbiamo scelto sono gustosissime! 20/10/2023: Disgusting. To avoid. I ordered a mix grill of fresh fish. A plate arrived with 3 fish that smelled extremely unpleasant and had a strange taste. I complained about the problem to the waiter and I was given a devastating answer such as: "this is a fish that is fried, but I grilled it specially for you. The fish is fresh and good!". I asked for the bill and left without eating anything. The fish plate did not appear on the payment note, instead an additional drink appeared that I had not ordered. The fries that accompanied the fish platter appeared to be frozen potatoes of the lowest quality. In the whole restaurant, with many tables, there is probably only one salt shaker, one pepper grinder and one bottle of olive oil. When the food was brought to us, normally, we asked for salt, pepper and oil. When other customers sat down next to us, the waiter, without asking anything, took our sieve, grinder and bottle of oil to give to the other customers. To drink, I initially ordered an Aperol, which was more water than prosecco. To complement the aperol, I ordered a prosecco. The bartender came with a bottle of prosecco (which didn't seem to have gas left) from which he poured about 50ml of the drink. The prices are a little higher than in Porto Cervo. Although I paid and spoke civilly, upon leaving the location, the two employees forgot to say hello! As the saying goes, "the fish from the head stinks". In a few words, "the worst experience in Sardinia".

16/10/2023: Undoubtedly among the best restaurants in Alghero. Great culinary tradition and excellent value for money. Strongly recommended!

23/03/2024: With our old friends we have been going to the Galleon more or less since 1990; yesterday I went back after years and luckily I found the same environment (which did its job as a time machine...), an excellent choice of beers both on tap and in bottles, and really good food: I had an excellent pizza and the bruschetta with Nutella, fantastic in its simplicity! Also worth mentioning in the menu is a special consideration for us vegetarians, which unfortunately isn't something for everyone! Congratulations also to the very fast service, and in the end the bill doesn't ruin your evening, you spend the right amount 👍🏼 Well done!

02/02/2024: Excellent place, my work colleagues brought me for the first time as they were on a business trip to Genoa, "those from Turin" I can only say that I had a great time with the friendly and very welcoming owners, excellent service, fast and with lots of choice of beer like in a real pub I would say, quality is quantity even in food... what can I say, see you on the next trip! Oh I forgot.. please say hello to me, the girl with black hair and glasses, the Calabrian boy from Turin, see you next time!
