22/03/2024: We had a birthday party reserving the venue. Very nice, well managed and good price. The buffet was good and plentiful. Gluten-free menu available on request. We were able to play music as we liked, dance and celebrate. Very helpful and approachable staff.

17/03/2024: Kind and young staff, and special attention for the waiter who made the day for us by finding us a table quickly (they were almost full and my boyfriend and I had booked in the restaurant of the same name but in Bagno a Ripoli 😅🤣). Accurate welcome, calm service. Excellent food with Tuscan dishes well made with quality raw materials. Lots of greenery, relaxation, countryside and hills with the possibility of walking and bike paths.

17/03/2024: Poiche' vado regolarmente a una mostra-mercato che si tiene due volte all'anno a Calenzano, nel corso del tempo mi e' capitato di provare quasi tutti i ristoranti della zona, ma mi mancava questo, che e' stato indubbiamente una sorpresa interessante. Tra Barberino e Calenzano, proprio di fronte all'Hotel Meridiana (che credo appartenga agli stessi proprietari) , il Carmagnini e' un bel locale ricavato da un casale, appunto, del '500 tramite una ristrutturazione attenta che pero' ha conservato alcuni elementi originari: il grande camino, le travi a vista, ecc. Lo stile generale e' quello di un ristorante non privo di ambizioni, l'accoglienza cortese, il servizio (come scopriremo poi) rapido ed efficiente, il menu' invitante, con specialita' toscane e non, la scelta dei vini ampia e con molti vini offerti anche a calice e non solo a bottiglia. Certo, non e' una trattoria economica: noi, in due, con un'insalatina "di campo" simpatica, ma niente di speciale per ciascuno come antipasto, un solo risotto, ottimo, porri e pancetta, come primo e un petto d'anatra all'arancia per ciascuno come piatto forte, il tutto accompagnato da tre calici di vini toscani piu' che validi, restiamo un pelo sotto i 50 euro a testa. Volendo, in menu' c'e' sempre la fiorentina classica che, come vuole la tradizione, va da 1 Kg in su. Valore aggiunto: bene accolti i cani . Vivamente consigliato a chi e' disposto a spendere un po' di piu' di quello che si spende in qualche trattoria rustica della zona.

22/03/2024: Rarely do you find such a well-organised restaurant around, and above all the food is really good. I ate a great raw dish, wonderfully good, well made and with excellent quality products. And the grilled fish cooked well is simply wonderful. Not to mention the welcome and the very kind, professional and competent staff. The wine list is also excellent. Well done, keep it up.

27/03/2024: Restaurant specializing particularly in fish dishes, located near the Calenzano motorway exit. It has a small car park for a few cars, however there is the possibility of parking for free along the road but it is not easy to find a place. The raw fish starter is good and plentiful, the risotto is delicate, the mezzamaniche and the baked fish are not particularly good. The mixed fried food with vegetables is decent, although not too abundant. Excellent tiramisu.

06/04/2024: You haven't even gotten out of the car and you already feel what awaits you in the air. smell of fat cooking on the grill! then you sit down and see the chefs working. Tuscan crostini, first courses, desserts, wines.... all delicious! but the Chianina......the top.

08/01/2024: Excellent pizza, friendly and efficient staff. Variety in flavours, I recommend the cecina. There is a welcoming garden where you can eat pizza on warm days, they do takeaway, what can I say... ........it's worth trying

13/10/2023: Ottima pizzeria al taglio nei pressi della zona universitaria, non tra i punti pranzo più conosciuti fra gli studenti. Tranci carichi e molto gustosi a prezzi economici. Per quanto riguarda il salato, super consigliato il wurstelone. Nel dolce, ottimo il nutellino a solo un euro. Molto carini i tavoli fuori dove è possibile mangiare in tranquillità.

01/04/2024: Hired at a restaurant on occasion by my in-laws. "Rustic" but not cheap restaurant nestled on the slopes of Calvana on the edge of the pearl of the Travalle park. Ground dishes and very friendly service. A strong dish, in my humble opinion, are the trailing feathers. Fried food, much praised by my family, isn't very convincing to me: discreet. The farmer's fried food is nice: chicken, rabbit, vegetables and potatoes. Prices quite reasonable even if increased

20/02/2024: Nice simple environment for quick business breakfasts and lunches. Going up 4/5 steps the environment becomes more vintage de lux. Excellent quality-price relation. Generous portions, menus changed daily. The coffee is also good.

07/03/2024: Really great family run classic Chinese restaurant. The food is always very good, even the focaccia is a pleasant surprise, but my favorite dish is the pasta udon with seafood! Months later I confirm everything I wrote
