31/03/2024: Restaurant discovered by chance that offers a remarkable experience of local cuisine through a menu presented on a blackboard, which adds a touch of originality and is very far from the usual sad tourist menus. The impeccable service and the excellent quality of the dishes impressed us so positively like the expense underestimated despite the care, highly recommended.

17/03/2024: Diciamo che di " trattoria" non ha niente, ma è piuttosto un ristorantino di livello, anche nel listino prezzi. Begli arredi e caldo ambiente, ma freddo servizio in sala, scostante, anche se professionale. Amichevole invece il bravo chef, che fa il giro dei tavoli. I tortelli al ragù bianco erano davvero una delizia per il palato. Ottimi anche gli spaghetti acciughe e bottarga. Buono ma non memorabile il tortino al cioccolato.

16/12/2023: I have passed by this restaurant several times and had never stopped, one day my wife and I did so and discovered a phenomenal place: excellent food and a welcoming place but the real added value is the couple who run it. Perfect for a pleasant culinary break during the Bologna/Florence journey on the S.S.64, it is always full of motorcyclists and other friendly people passing by. Informal but very nice and warm environment. I recommend booking.

21/12/2023: Finalmente un posto vero, in mezzo alla natura, in un piccolissimo grazioso borgo, un'autentica locanda toscana, rustica, con caminetto d'inverno e pergolato d'estate. La cucina è tradizionale ma con spunti creativi. Davvero buona, il proprietario davvero simpatico e accogliente.

14/03/2024: We are a little out of season, but it's nice to know that the Chalet is open. Focaccias and flatbreads are always good. Today however I tried the mixed grill with french fries. Optimal !!! For more, drink and coffee included. Maybe the apple pie should have stayed in the oven another 5 minutes, but it was still good.

04/04/2024: Went with my sister for lunch, the first course was exceptional, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and ficattole with cold cuts, all very good, efficient and friendly service.....I will return

15/10/2023: On the state road that from Monghidoro passing through the Raticosa pass, goes to Tuscany to Pietramala (car refueling with natural methane, directly from the aquifer. A system from the 1930s still functioning! Incredible for the machinery of the time still visible...). Price per kg of methane in October 2023: €1.28 The place is called this because it is in the large building from the era of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany which served between it and the Papal State (practically the whole of Emilia Romagna). Burgers, ribs, baked potatoes and much more with an excellent choice of beers and wines. Ample parking and numerous outdoor tables. Convenient for stopping motorcyclists to and from Tuscany etc etc.

31/03/2024: We stayed at the fortress before celebrating our wedding the night before. All accommodated in single, double and triple rooms excellently. The à la carte dinner was delicious and well prepared from all points of view. Excellent staff available to meet the needs of all guests. What can I say, if you want to get married in a welcoming place like your living room, go to Firenzuola alla Rocca! (even if you don't have to get married I highly recommend it!!!!!) Richard

20/03/2024: At the La Rocca di Roncade restaurant, we enjoyed a variety of delicious Mediterranean dishes, enhanced by the exceptional service of the waiter named Momo. The welcoming atmosphere and delicious pizzas made our evening unforgettable. Congratulations to all the staff

01/04/2024: DON'T COUNT ON US IF YOU ARE A WALKER! It was raining cats and dogs, there were 20 of us outside, freezing because we were annoying inside. Fill the water? No. Charge the cellphone? No. Having lunch (I was alone)? We are full (an instant later, a table of 6: "sorry, there is one more person with us, can we add a chair?" - "Look, let's directly add that table which is free". I'm wet and cold, no "Their idiots served and revered. God forbid for them, but my money is no different from theirs. Beyond the money, considering that they are the only point of support on the road for kilometers, humanity under the shoes, it seems that the travelers are just a nuisance. Don't go there!
