17/11/2023: Ritornare alla locanda Toscano è sempre un piacere.La chef Caterina Malerba riesce perfettamente ad esprimere nei suoi piatti un giusto equilibrio tra colori , consistenza e sapori.Da segnalare tagliolini di nero di seppia con gamberi e crema di caviale di arancia. Personale gentile e motivato.

25/01/2024: Accoglienza calorosa, appena siamo arrivati al locale tutto il personale si è dimostrato professionale e gentile. Il locale è molto curato e pulito. Abbiamo gustato un'ottima pizza con vasta scelta di condimenti, fatta con prodotti freschi e di qualità. Consiglio questo locale per trascorrere una piacevole serata. Andrea

10/02/2024: Small place with very big requirements. Cleanliness, courtesy and helpfulness on the part of the staff, imagination and quality in the dishes, affordable prices on the bill. Definitely a point of reference in Philadelphia restaurants, reservations are advisable. Worth it for an aperitif with a glass of wine, a platter and some snacks, or abandon yourself to the imagination and quality of the local and homemade cuisine enhanced and enriched by the skilled hands of the chef, or delight yourself with personalized pizzas for every taste, always in any case with the imprint of ancient flavours

01/04/2024: We ate in this restaurant at the end of August, a nice girl welcomed us; after having made us sit down, however, we were served at the table by another waitress, who after making a bad impression by asking personal questions, first took the plate away from my partner while she was still eating (literally) and then started muttering something in dialect Calabrian every time he approached the table. They fooled people into thinking they could choose the lobsters from the aquarium, but once they took them out of the water they took a quick trip to the kitchen and then went out the back and as if nothing had happened they put them back in their place. It took us less time to eat than to pay, we had to tell the owner that we were in a hurry to go and she in response, with a grimace, said that she was working. The pizza chef and the waitress who welcomed us are the only two employees I would save, but starting from the owner and then arriving at the bigoted and rude waitress I would kick everyone in the ass. I understand that it is complex to understand all this, it is also complex for me to explain it in writing, but what happened is madness. The place was recommended to us, we do not recommend it to anyone! I'm Southern, but these are the characters that feed the Southern stereotype. That said, If "this is love", after being with you I can say that you don't know what love is, for food, respect for people, respect for customers and so on and so forth. Any advice guys? if you want to eat a pizza, there are hundreds of pizzerias in Tropea.

26/09/2023: Ordered two first courses, one of which was prawns and courgettes, I don't recommend it at all because the frozen prawns, courgettes made with a pseudo liquid cream watered down by the water not drained from the pasta. The other was Tropeana style, with a little onion and a little canned tuna, among other things, so for foreigners, as they say, everything goes well but not for us Italians. And then the price is not cheap. So unfortunately we went to the wrong place. I don't recommend.

29/09/2023: Buona la pizza, anzi veramente ottima... unica postilla i 2 primi che abbiam preso...pronti dopo cinque minuti dalla prenotazione, pertanto credo che siano precotti( non ci metto le mani sul fuoco) ma anche dal sapore, la pasta non era proprio eccezionale, per il resto invece abbastanza buono

25/02/2024: Excellent pizza also for the wallet (like in Naples), one of the few there is kebab. Beautiful internal room with plenty of seating where you can also organize a party, there is a meat and fish menu and excellent first courses. Family run place (beautiful, very kind family). I always come back willingly. The service is quite fast. It is located 2 steps from Piazza Municipio and other activities. commercial (yoghurt shop, bars). Then you can take a nice walk on the city street for a beautiful evening. Also ideal for a lunch break or for a quick pizza during the day.
