Non-existent service. After half an hour of waiting for a waitress who never arrived and a dirty table from previous customers we ordered inside, after another 20 minutes a spritz arrived without ice and a crodino without ice, without warning that the ice was finished (at 6.30pm) without bring an aperitif, two chips, total nothing, placed the drinks on the dirty table in complete silence. Many other tables were waiting and one had even left, while three waitresses took turns going outside to smoke, chatting with a table of friends, completely ignoring the waiting customers. Unfortunately this is the second time we've had the same service and we certainly won't be back for the third time.

30/09/2023: Granita con frutta fresca appena frullata..... Fantastica! Consiglio lime e menta in foglie: praticamente il miglior mojito che abbia mai bevuto ma adesso posso anche guidare! 😜

10/02/2024: Ho pranzato due volte alla Taverna del Mago e mi sono sempre trovata benissimo.
Il ristorante si trova un pò fuori dal centro storico, all ingresso di Pallanza, comodissimo il parcheggio.
Il menù varia sempre e ogni portata è curata nei minimi dettagli dallo chef Maurizio.
Come dice il menù, i tempi di attesa sono dettati dalla pietanza, quindi niente precotto, si attende i giusti tempi e ogni piatto ha la sua unicità!
Ottimi i primi e i dolci.
La carta dei vini spazia da nord a sud, con prezzi nella media; vi consiglio di farvi consigliare da Maurizio la scelta giusta del vino da abbinare.
Buon compromesso qualità/prezzo!

15/12/2023: Prezzi eccessivi, porzioni ridotte non c'è menù cartaceo e quindi non si può sapere quanto si paga.
Locale semivuoto, solo un tavolo oltre al nostro e malgrado ciò il gestore non si è preoccupato di chiederci come ci fossimo trovati.
Sconsigliato.

03/02/2024: Su consiglio di un amica ed essendo a Verbania sono andato a mangiare in questo locale, cucina vegana e da onnivoro ho apprezzato molto le pietanza che ho ordinato,molto accogliente , abbondanti porzioni e grande cortesia dello staff, consiglio di passare e fermarvi per pranzo dato che la sera è chiuso. Complimenti al locale
