21/03/2024: I love this sandwich shop. In first place 🔝 among those I tried in Catania and the surrounding area.
Excellent bread both semolina and the classic soft bread. Truly fresh and quality meat, always hot chips and always fresh and assorted side dishes.
They also make wraps, main and side dishes and burgers. I strongly recommend you try this place 😎

10/02/2024: Highly negative experience and now I'll explain why:
Let me start by saying that I ordered with the JustEat online platform and since it was Saturday I decided to order in advance to avoid unpleasant delays (as shown in the photo I placed the order at 7.23pm). I choose the delivery time (9pm) and it automatically gets overwritten with 9.10pm (which wasn't a big deal).
It's 9.15pm, 9.20pm... At 9.30pm I call to ask where my order was and I was told that they were still waiting for the rider who was about to arrive at the pizzeria and that I had to wait for the journey time all the way home, while on the app it already appeared at 9.22pm that the order was being delivered.
Finally at 10pm the pizzas arrived (one warm and the other cold) and the most unpleasant surprise was to find a pizza totally devoid of toppings (I had also ordered a sweet Nutella pizza). I think this is enough of a reason for my choice to have scored 1 star on the review, never again.

03/04/2024: First time I went, great food. Terrible customer service. The customer needs kindness and to see smiles, on the contrary the cashier seemed angry and responded with such indifference to any information that was requested.
15/01/2024: I have always eaten at Giovanni Rana, everything is good, but in a short time the prices have significantly increased disproportionately. Ok fine, the food is good, but now we are at restaurant price level, except that here we are always talking about a self-service, which sometimes during crowded hours eats everything cold, because there is no place to sit at the tables set up available from the shopping center. I'm sorry but probably, reluctantly, I won't go back again.
