25/03/2024: Great place if you want to eat something with pistachio. The Granita con brioche was amazing. The brioche was very fresh and the staff was very friendly. Also the prices were extremely good for such venue in a touristy part of Taormina. They also sell great wine.

31/03/2024: I've had my very first italian ice cream there with my family. Additionally we bought Tiramisu, served in small cups of chocolate - amazing! A truly wonderful experience wich may be influenced by my low expectations to this holiday but this was by far the best Tiramisu I ever had and a delicious ice cream. A great start to our city tour.

03/03/2024: Cashier as nice as a crab in his underwear. Requesting a mint granita, the boy at the cash register, with an arrogant air, replies that they don't make them since they only use quality products and that they only make mint syrup in the north. But what the hell kind of answer is that? By chance, hearing my accent, he felt compelled to blurt out the first stupid thing that crossed his mind, I'll never find out. Without a doubt he had a very unpleasant and discriminatory attitude towards those who are not Sicilian, a senseless attitude given that people should not be judged based on their origin. I don't recommend it to anyone who isn't local. PS other reviewers say this quality granita doesn't taste good ;)

06/04/2024: Beautifully located with a fantastic view over Taormina and the Mediterranean, yet not overcrowded and in keeping with the mood of this great city. Friendly and charming staff. Without a doubt one of the best pizzas we have ever eaten for a reasonable price. We will come back!

06/04/2024: I was very disappointed with this pizzeria, the food had no taste as did the wine.

30/03/2024: Great homemade food and very well priced, it gives you a break after how expensive everything is in the rest of the town. We tried the melazzane, the lasagna and for dessert the tiramisu (homemade made to order), all exquisite! Antonio was also very nice, it didn't take long to serve us the food. We were sitting on the terrace, it was a very pleasant night.

26/03/2024: Fantastic place… little nook! Authentic Sicilian food… avoiding a tourist trap… then you got it!!

05/04/2024: Friendly service, great relaxed atmosphere and tasty sandwiches. Large selection of alcohols. A huge plus is that it is open longer than most pubs in Taormina in the off-season.

29/10/2023: You would be a fool not to visit Casamatta! The staff are absolutely exceptional. Umberto is a very patient and knowledgable sommelier - he let me try multiple wines to ensure I had the glass I loved. Stella makes brilliant sandwiches and is incredibly hospitable. I spent several hours here on my first, second and third night surrounded by locals and soaking up the ambience. I loved it. The bar is owned by Roger - he is tolerable.

25/10/2023: October 2023 A cozy restaurant with very tasty pizzas and very friendly secvice. Antipasti platters, hamburgers and bruschetta also taste great. I like it spicy and usually eat Pizza Vulcano, which I can highly recommend. Conclusion: We have been coming here for several years and can absolutely recommend the restaurant or the American bar. Thanks to Mary and Guiseppe!!
