Pizza & starters were very good and the price was completely OK for the location. The waiter was very attentive and also fulfilled special requests. Honestly good gastronomy.

Very nice place to have a bug lunch or dinner. We ordered a pizza for each of us and they were easily big enough for a dinner. I was unable to finish mine. Despite this mine only costed 15 Euros. I strongly recommend the "la Montanara" as it takes the normal formula for a pizza with ham and pepperoni and replaces the tomato sauce with a creamy mushroom sauce. For dessert, we shared am applestrudel and it was delicious. They replaced the normal flakey pastry with a much more cake-like pastry. The drinks were nice but nothing special. The same goes for the service. It was quick and formal, the staff were quite friendly but It wasn't exceptional. The building itself is very old and looks beautiful. We sat next to the window and the chairs were very comfortable. I have no complaints and if you ever find yourself in the area and in need of a pizza, I strongly recommend this place, with its amazing food for cheap prices.

A must when you are in Bolzano. Very timely restaurant. Typically Italian... delicious food...

We discovered the restaurant by chance during our visit to Bolzano. We really enjoyed it and the food was very tasty. We had pizzas and a dish from the daily menu. The ambience is also very nice and the price-performance ratio is optimal. We can recommend the restaurant.

Restaurant in the center, with a super characteristic look. Good food. Recommended mostly for the location, and staff perhaps with a little more desire to speak Italian.

Nice old location in the center of Bolzano. Beautiful building with all kinds of funny, artistic chickens on the windowsills... Food was fine and not too expensive. And not unimportant: our French Bull was very welcome.

Typical and characteristic restaurant that offers a good local menu. Spätzle not bad while the trio of dumplings were really good. The side potatoes were nothing special while the accompanying bread (which I received only after my express request) was good and particular. Entering the restaurant it almost feels like returning to a restaurant from 100 years ago with the same walls, wood, floor, etc. so it's very fascinating. The price is really honest and the quality of the dishes is certainly there.

Martedì sera nella nostra prima serata a Bolzano abbiamo cenato in questo caratteristico ristorante e siamo usciti molto soddisfatti. Iniziato dividendo delle buonissime pappardelle all'uovo con funghi di bosco e spezie; proseguito con un tenerissimo stinco con patate al forno e un ottimo goulasch di cervo con polenta. Molto buono lo strudel di mele. Servizio cortese, giovane il personale, giusto rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliato.

Un locale che rappresenta un momento di storia di Bolzano. Ma di storico c’è solo l’arredamento, il menù rispetta invece la tradizione di questa terra, anche se ampio spazio alle proposte viene dato anche alla pizza.
