This restaurant exceeded all our expectations. From the welcome to departure it was a delight. I reserved when passing the day before.. when approaching the garden restaurant next day i was greeted by name. The friendliness and expertise of staff was incredible. The food was delicious. One of our best meals ever. No-one should leave Monticatini without experiencing such a treat. The founder in his 80's now was there removing empty plates. He runs an excellent ship with his long established staff.

Wat een geweldig restaurant en fantastische Italiaanse keuken. We eten nergens zo heerlijk als bij Giovanni! Het team is warm en hartelijk en Giovanni zelf, een schatje! Jammer dat we maar één keer daar konden eten maar wij gaan zeker terug.

Excellent quality, like the final bill... absolutely not tasteless... Opening the menu is a mystical experience that takes your breath away for those two seconds, with accompanying dismay. But the dishes, lots of stuff. The only sore point: 6 euros per person for the "cover charge"? Let's say a scam legalized in various restaurants.

Kindness and helpfulness. Medium quality food. I would suggest the owner to replace the fish frying oil more often or change the quality of the oil. Furthermore, it would be best not to offer raw or fried anchovies if they are not a "night time".

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, can’t recommend it enough. If you come here you will be sure that everything that you’re going to eat will be of stellar quality, they only use the very best ingredients. I’ve tried everything on the menu and is all top notch. The service is also outstanding, everyone is extremely kind and professional. Special mention also to the owner which you can tell is mad passionate about his job. 5 stars are not enough for this place

24/03/2024: Recommended place, I must say that it exceeded my expectations, the place was really nice, clean, and very welcoming....the staff was very kind, friendly, helpful... We ate really well, 🤤 everything was delicious 😋 there spoiled for choice 🤤 sweet something unique 😋🥳

06/04/2024: ATOMIC. Not a simple pizzeria, but a real experience. The staff is very kind and welcoming, available in advising the most undecided customers (given the variety of pizzas and also other proposals). We tried the pizza uramaki with burrata, courgette cream and fried courgette chips, what can I say, they were crazy. Then we had two real pizzas: Marinara with stracciatella, wild garlic pesto and caper flowers and Rosso di Mare with tuna, crusco pepper, buffalo mozzarella: both excellent! Soft dough, melts in the mouth, really digestible, you can feel that the ingredients are of high quality. We didn't get to try the desserts but they were really tempting. We will certainly return and really recommend a lunch/dinner at La Fenice because it is truly worth it.
02/04/2024: The pizza did not meet my expectations, the first one burned and then it was made again, the dough was very hard, the rush of the staff for the next shift made me anxious, I don't think I will go back
