La Casa di Cocò - Podere dell'Etna Segreta In Biancavilla

Place immersed in the Biancavilla countryside among vines and olive trees. The dining room is very nice, a mix of rustic and elegance. Unfortunately I wasn't convinced by the lunch. The appetizer lives up to expectations more or less, the tastings are particular and refined. In one of the first, the parcel, the dough was raw at the ends; really a shame because the toppings were good. The second course of meat is not bad, the scottona presented itself well, soft and cooked to perfection. The dessert was poor, the cream puffs were dry/dry and with very little cream. So I believe that the place has great potential but the cuisine needs to be improved in many aspects, from the quality of the dishes to the almost ceremonial times. There can be an initial wait of half an hour but then two and a half hours from the first course to the dessert, no! Sufficient quality/price ratio.

A delicious meal born from a family’s love for their land

It was a wonderful experience! We went to this beautiful place during the Christmas period and spent an unforgettable day full of nature and good food (and excellent wines!). We spent the first part of the day visiting the farm and then moving on to the cooking class with Francesca, really professional and very nice!! We prepared some delicious tortelloni which Francesca then cooked for us, enhancing the flavours, to enjoy them later during lunch. The dining room is truly a marvel! Attention to the smallest details, and with a large fireplace that makes the atmosphere truly enveloping. All the dishes we tasted were delicious, the starters really impressed us! Finally we felt very pampered by Jack, truly excellent in his service and presence in the room, you are truly an excellent team!!!! Congratulations, we will definitely be back!! 100% recommended!!! You will not regret it!

We stayed one night, an elegant and modern, very clean room with a personal fireplace surrounded by Etna greenery. The main structure is an old farmhouse renovated respecting the original style. The elegant and charmingly furnished restaurant, inside a large welcoming fireplace. The dinner was exceptional, both starters, first courses and desserts. Very kind and professional staff. Recommended for a relaxing weekend in the nature of Etna.

Simply fantastic (living room, restaurant and kitchen), a corner of paradise on the little-known and touristy side of Etna.

Esperienza culinaria, sensoriale, visiva, percettiva meravigliosa. Il podere è un posto stupendo, che non si riesce ad immaginare se non lo si vede con i propri occhi. La Struttura all’arrivo è mozzafiato, arrivati al parcheggio siamo stati accolti dagli ulivi in fila a ridosso di una bellissima piscina, sulla destra dalle camere appena nate che danno proprio l’idea di un essential nature hotel, come poi ci ha spiegato Jack, la ragazza che lavora in sala e che è stata molto premurosa e attenta. Il non plus ultra lo abbiamo raggiunto con l’esperienza culinaria. Ogni piatto curato nei minimi dettagli, per la gioia della vista, del palato e del cuore. Le portate, spiegate passo passo, ti lasciano immaginare ogni sapore ancor prima di assaggiarlo. Il menù è studiato per poter arrivare alla fine del pasto soddisfatti sotto ogni punto di vista. Il vino, di loro produzione, di altissimo livello; corposo, fruttato, profumato e tanninico al punto giusto. Excellent cuisine, wonderful location, attentive and professional owners.

A pranzo con la famiglia qualche domenica fa. Il menu degustazione a prezzo fisso 38 Euro + l'ottimo vino prodotto sul posto al prezzo di 25 Euro li vale tutti , nulla di più. I piatti strizzano l'occhio ad una cucina gourmet con qualche piatto ben riuscito, qualcun' altro no. Nel complesso una buona esperienza da consigliare ma ritengo non all'altezza delle tante recensioni "eccellente". Una nota super positiva per il servizio e l'accoglienza molto cordiale.
