Wonderful food in a lovely atmosphere. Our dogs were also well looked after, absolutely recommended!

The best restaurant I went in Dolomiti. WONDERFUL! The place is so cute, so romantic… the service is spectacular (Aveni served us, he is so kind) and the food is AMAZING! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You must try the yogurt for dessert ;)

I had the pleasure to dine in this beautiful place few nights ago with a dear local friend after he recommended checking this establishment which he already knew and what's better than going to dine where the locals are going? So I followed him promptly and I am deeply satisfied. Everything was just perfect, the choice of the ingredients and products offered in the menu is their priority, and you can feel that with every bite or every sip of wine you take. Michael, the head waiter, correctly recommended us the best wine to pair with our meal (he seemed to have quite an extensive knowledge on the matter) and together with his assistant and with the help of the kitchen they made us spend an unforgettable evening. We were just passing by the village of San Vigilio and, although is not my first time visiting this beautiful little town, it was my first time discovering this cozy and warm little osteria serving only traditional dishes prepared with ingredients that they produce themselves (the owners have a farm and produce their own meat and vegetables and, what they don't produce, they source it locally from selected wineries and beverage producers of the area, so you are in for a pleasurable discovery if you stop by this place). Highly recommended, best reserving before, especially during peak ski season time. I highly recommend trying their cold cuts dish, where you can savor their Speck and dry sausages which were well worth the price. Next time I will bring my wife too, seems perfect for a little romantic evening in a cutely mountain style decorated classic"stube". 5 stars and well deserved.

I went with my lovely half on vacation in this beautiful region of northern Italy and we ended up staying in one of the apartments of Ciastel. What to say, the staff is amazing and they really make you feel home, their sense of hospitality is very warm and the intimacy of the apartments is also spot on! Last but not least is their restaurant: the food is awesome and we learned that is prepared by the mother of the general manager of the place, who himself is always at the location and always very happy to help. Positive note also on the service, really professional but at the same time not cold and too much "automatic" but more "human". If you are around pay a visit to their restaurant, is worth it.

Tutti bravi e gentili. Le stanze sono accoglienti e accessoriate. La cucina è molto buona...lo strudel di mele è divino.

Schaut (von aussen)aus,wie ein alter Luftschutzbunker in Schwabing..Inh.& Personal super nett. Frühstück nur €10.- ..schmeckt aber wie €15.- !! :-). sonst App. zu teuer ( Preis/Leistung/Zustand stimmt nicht..u.a.hundeunfreundlich St.Vigil- zumindest im Oktober= tote Hose !!

Osteria con cucina e atmosfera ladina autentica, piatti della tradizione rivisitati in chiave moderna. Ottima presentazione dei piatti e qualità del cibo eccellente. Mix di sapori e profumi perfettamente accostati. Materie prime a km zero prodotte principalmente da loro. Plauso speciale al tris di canederli (si scioglievano in bocca), specialmente quello agli spinaci, ma soprattutto agli gnocchi di pane di segale, morbidi e dal gusto e aroma meravigliosamente sublimi. Ottimo lo strudel in versione altoatesina con frolla di farro.

Ambiente molto curato, in un piccolo castello recuperato in modo molto preciso e con grande attenzione ai dettagli. Atmosfera calda e romantica. Pochi piatti della tradizione ma sapientemente cucinati, molto ben presentati, con l’utilizzo di eccellenti materie prime locali. Prezzo corretto per la qualità del cibo proposto. Consigliatissimo.
