02/04/2024: Easter day in L'Aquila. And to avoid any unpleasant surprises, we asked a local friend for advice: “Can you tell us a wine shop where we can get a platter and drink a good glass of wine? And no other answer would have been better. Not only did we drink well with a minimal mark-up, but the first tagliatelle for two was so good and varied that we asked for a second one. And it wasn't the same, but a new journey through Europe starting from Abruzzo, passing through Croatia, Spain, Portugal, France, Northern England, both for cured meats and cheeses, an experience absolutely worth having at a very fair price, as shown on the receipt. The wine was a pecorino, Giulia di Cataldi Madonna. Do the math, consider the quality of the proposal and you will understand why it is not to be missed.
