Suinsom In Selva di val gardena

Restaurant at the @tyrolhotel. Its name means at the top. It has two tasting and à la carte menus with Alpine and Mediterranean dishes, with a pairing option. With a very authentic style of the area, wood panel walls, it has a very cozy and intimate atmosphere. I loved the red calf sashimi with caviar, green pici with lamb and cuttlefish ragout, sea bass with lemongrass, veal with bone marrow juice and smoked capers, and tarte tatin with salted caramel and vanilla ice cream. The pairing with the dishes was very well chosen and very well explained. It has a small main room with tables for small groups and a more private area where we had a table of 8. They have a 5-course menu for €170/pers, a 6-course menu for €185/pers. They were very friendly and took good care of us.

We had lunch there today. Excellent service with very competent and friendly staff. The meals were very good. Higher level. The ambience is also very special and fits the surroundings. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants a special location and very good food.

Compliments to the chef for his sublime dishes, but I must compliment Matteo and Alessia, excellent and well-prepared staff (a plus). Wonderful evening, thank you

Fantastic and authentic tyrol mountain restaurant. Very beautiful well maintained classic style pine interior and cosy setting. Great staff and great sommelier Mateo are really lightening the evening. We chose the 5 course menu and got extra 2 surprise dishes. This made the eve a little longer then expected and on the edge of too copius although also the extra dishes were fantastic. I would like to recommend this restaurant very strongly. The only thing that was just a little negative was a too loud party in the lobby of the hotel. But instantly forgiven 🍀☀️☀️☀️

I have never given 5 stars at the same time on food, service and environment. Truly congratulations to all the staff because only thanks to unity and harmony can this exceptional level be achieved in everything.

The food was amazing and the kindness and helpfulness of the employees was extraordinary. Also the location itself was very beautifully set. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely visit again.
