26/11/2023: This review is for the view only, we did not eat here. The restaurant is closed during off season but it’s possible to visit the trabocco and have a picnic with a view. It is one of the best ones to visit along the trabocchi coast and there is a fun door to take photos with as well. The entrance is along the bike path and it’s easy to access but you must walk and cannot drive all the way there. One of the most beautiful places in Abruzzo!

19/02/2024: Esperienza super positiva. Locale accogliente e personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo pranzato una domenica, il locale era pieno e nonostante questo il servizio è stato impeccabile. Abbiamo optato per un menu da trenta euro, che comprendeva antipasti caldi e freddi (molto buoni), tris di primi (buonissimi) e arrosto misto. Tutto molto buono , torneremo sicuramente. Unica cosa da migliorare sono gli esterni, non molto curati, e la strada per arrivare al ristorante…ma ne vale la pena!

15/03/2024: For us Foconè is synonymous with home. The attention and selection of products by the great Luciano and his magnificent staff are the reason why it is a pleasure to visit them every time. From pizza to kebabs and cheese and egg balls, Foconè is a guarantee!! Seeing is believing!

11/02/2024: Small but very welcoming place and cinema sandwiches don't forget to take the platter of cold cuts and cheeses but it's difficult to finish it alone, it's plentiful and very good. For 5 we spent the right amount with a starter of arristicini and battered vegetables.

05/04/2024: Very refined in furnishings and table service. Good and well-finished dishes also in terms of visual aspects, fast and attentive service with kind personnel. Perhaps a bit of the rustic and traditional aspect of the world of trabocchi is missing in the dishes served, such as the second course and the traditional Abruzzo dessert. 05/04/2024: A dinner on the trabocco where you pay mainly for the location and sitting. Yes, because you have to be ready for a fixed menu (€65 per person) and being at the table for 2 to 3 hours... there was a lot of downtime, probably linked to a kitchen that was too small. The dishes were pleasant, small portions, all served in flat plates placed on a deep plate, therefore very uncomfortable. The overflow, however, is very fascinating!

23/03/2024: The experience we had during dinner at La Bottaia de' Roveri was practically delicious. I don't give 5 stars easily but this restaurant deserves them all. The welcome was kind and professional, as well as during the service there was added friendliness, competence and kindness from all the dining room staff. All the dishes tasted were very good, well prepared and of excellent quality. In addition to meat, we recommend the homemade desserts. The price is average for the area.

16/03/2024: Locale molto carino particolare e curato, personale gentile, pietanze di ottima qualitá dall'antipasto (eccezionale il vegetariano) alla pizza per non parlare degli arrosticini morbidissimi. Eravamo con amici e ci siamo trovati tutti benissimo poi anche con la musica dal vivo top.

15/11/2023: If you are looking for a place to taste typical traditional Abruzzo dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, I recommend you try this restaurant. The restaurant is welcoming and well furnished, the staff is friendly and professional, and the menu offers a variety of choices for all tastes. I tasted the meat tartare, seasoned with oil, salt, pepper and a cream of aromatic herbs, and the roast veal cooked at low temperature, soft and juicy, accompanied by seasonal vegetables. Both dishes were delicious and well presented. To finish on a high note, I ordered the mascarpone cream, a creamy and light delicacy. I was very satisfied with my experience, I highly recommend it to those who love genuine, quality cuisine, and to those who want to spend a pleasant evening in a familiar and relaxing environment.
