02/09/2023: “WARNING THAT THE OWNER CONTACTS PEOPLE PRIVATELY ON THE MOBILE NUMBER OBTAINED FROM THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS, TO TICK THE DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS WHO EXPRESS THEIR THOUGHTS WITH THE REVIEWS AND AFTER INSULTING THEM, DELETES ALL THE MESSAGES ON THE W APP!!” Attracted by the good reviews on the fork we decide to book at Calima. No welcome, I had to be seen by the waitress who was in the room alone after ten minutes of waiting at the entrance. We were given a table outside under a condominium terrace with a plastic awning, the heat was unbearable. We decide to split a selection of cold and hot appetizers. Decent appetizers but tiny portions even for a single person and accompanied by sauces with a questionable combination with fish. We are told several times that marinated fish is cooked (my partner is pregnant and cannot eat raw). Marinating is not a TYPE OF COOKING, that fish is still "RAW". As a first course we order a plate of spaghetti cacio e pepe with red prawn and lime. Unfortunately the spaghetti was completely raw (it didn't even flex) and the sauce was very salty, I sent it back immediately and although I was asked to do it again I preferred to skip the course also for a question of timing. We then move on to the second courses. Roast fish with fairly generous portions but tasteless and defrosted fish (despite it being proposed as the catch of the day). We found sand in the squid and after pointing it out first to the waitress and then to the owner we were told that it was impossible because there were no molluscs (mussels and clams) on the plate. Too bad that every squid was full of sand and inedible, not to mention the mantis shrimp which were completely pulpless and watery. Practically empty and probably placed on the grill still frozen. We are asked to replace it with the same re-prepared dish. But given the quality of the fish we decline. The tuna tataky, on the other hand, was of decent quality but very small portions (later we realized that the jelly which was listed on the menu was also missing), accompanied by a tasteless chickpea hummus and a terrible vegetable giardiniera. After this terrible culinary experience we decide to order two espresso lattes. We are told it can't be done because they don't have milk. I decide to just get a plain one. The fork 30% discount applied correctly. But after the various complaints we expressed we expected at least the coffee offered. Back home and after reading the owner's responses to the negative reviews her restaurant received on TripAdvisor. We recommend a nice bath of humility and to go back to studying what a gourmet dinner really is. Because here the only thing that was gourmet was the small amount of food on the plates. The only happy note was the waitress of Eastern European origins who was very kind, helpful and humble from the beginning to the end of the service. NEVER AGAIN IN CALIMA!!!

10/09/2023: I called all day...for a reservation, we'll call you back....the restaurant opens at 7pm...restaurant open...7.30pm no confirmation, we went to the place, closed closed. The site is not updated, it's a shame

06/09/2023: Beautiful Lido location, helpful staff. For the restaurant, a guarantee of quality and freshness, they only serve 2 dishes (at least the day we went there) vongole pasta or pizza. The pasta was delicious. The prices are more than fair both in the restaurant and at the Lido.

08/09/2023: Sono stata varie volte quest'estate al lido Las Vegas e non saranno le uniche! Pesce freschissimo e piatti deliziosi, preparati con grande cura. Il locale è impeccabilmente pulito e la location curata, confortevole e accogliente permette di mangiare con un'incantevole vista mare. Complimenti a Danilo, Roberto e a tutto lo staff per l'accoglienza, l'attenzione al particolare e la cordialità che sono un valore aggiunto e mai scontato. Consigliatissimo.

12/11/2023: Attratti dalle discrete recensioni siamo andati la sera del primo novembre in questo ristorante. Ambiente anni 70, servizio sbrigativo, porzioni abbondanti, cucina quantomeno imbarazzante. Come primi avevano solo ai funghi o al ragù, la pasta era decisamente scotta i funghi erano surgelati, il ragù alquanto brodoso, meglio lasciare perdere, e infatti abbiamo lasciato gli spaghetti intatti sul vassoio di portata, ma nessuno se ne è accorto... Per secondo abbiamo preso arrosticini (industriali) e una cotoletta che era enorme sottile e salata, anche questa lasciata quasi intera... Ecco, l'insalata era buona :))

24/09/2023: A typical Italian bar. Everything served to me so far was fine. Both the snacks with the aperitif and the aperitif itself. The coffee is also okay. A menu exists. It is just not offered automatically. Depending on who is behind the bar, the service is good or bad. This gap justifies the 3 stars.

01/04/2024: Never again. It's a shame because we've always had a good time. After having been here about ten times, after counting the money he told us that 50 euros were missing. Unacceptable. To avoid making any mistakes, we added a little each and left. It's a shame to get lost like this for a few pennies. Bad look.

Saturday evening at 9pm for an aperitif, I enter greeting in a polite way and the owner doesn't even look at me in the face, he approached me asking if I could sit down and even there he turns with his back to me and no response.. I wait another 10 minutes in front to him but the result hasn't changed... nothing, I leave the room comfortably as if nothing had happened... absolutely absurd

Unfortunately, we don't speak Italian, and they did not speak English, so the explanation about the menu was not easy to understand, and we did not get a written menu. They served us Bruschetta, seafood salad pasta with clams and dessert. I look forward to coming back to experience the kitchen again. 🤓👍
