09/05/2024: A wonderful dining experience in Verona at Ristorante Maffei, located in the historic Palazzo Maffei which dates back to the 15th century, it also houses a museum. Food was excellent, even the bread and tomato butter was yummy.

25/02/2024: Excellent restaurant! Excellent dishes. The desserts are also excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Menu prices in line with the Michelin star. Only flaw, wine prices too high.. Unfortunately, being in the historic center, it is difficult to find parking.

16/05/2024: Cibo di ottima qualità, perparato sul momento e con porzioni abbondanti. Personale attento e accogliente. Tempi di attesa brevissimi. È consigliabile prenotare, ma ci hanno trovato posto anche senza prenotazione. Un posto in cui sicuramente torneremo!

15/05/2024: Food, Service, Ambiente = just great Wir kommen gerne wieder. Es war sehr viel los, aber das Personal war stets sehr aufgestellt und zuvorkommend. Sie nahmen auch Rücksicht auf unsere beiden grosse Hunde. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Einfach toll, gerne wieder!

15/05/2024: The meat is excellent but the 2 sauces and different salts (5 or 6) are absolutely of no interest! We had a meat dish, "Degustazione Premium". First you must be 2 to take this dish at 46€ per person, so it is 92€! Why should we be necessarily 2 knowing that there are 4 pieces of meat each, it’s not just a single piece of meat to share? Then you have to choose the same cooking, again why since there are 4 different pieces per person? My wife could very well choose "medium" and I "blue"! Then you have to choose only 1 portion of vegetable for the 2 of you while for all the other dishes propose 1 portion of vegetable each! The beer is disgusting, choice between Heineken or a bottled beer which I took, really not liking Heineken but it is as disgusting as Heineken! No local white wine for my wife in the land of Italian wines! Restaurant that I didn't like and really don't recommend! I wanted to try another form of steakhouse but this one really wasn't for us! , Very poor value for money, far too expensive for what it is! No interest! Worst restaurant we have done in Italy on our 15 days road trip! I could have given 1* but for the quality of the meat!

15/05/2024: Ottimo ristorante .. una fantastica scoperta .. sono stata con il mio compagno per cena e abbiamo mangiato divinamente .. una delle migliori carni ma mangiate .. abbiamo preso la cruditè di fiorentina .. squisita e poi la degustazione premium DIVINA non c’era un pezzo di carne che non si stogliesse in bocca .. consigliatissimo Il locale è davvero belle e ben arredato .. il servizio niente da dire .. i camerieri tutti molto preparati e gentilissimi .. ti mettono a tuo agio La nuova sala pre cena gestita da un barman veramente bravo .. abbiamo bevuto un americano e un Negroni e fatti veramente bene È stata una serata top.. complimenti siete veramente bravi !!! Vi ritorneremo sicuramente.. a presto !!!

11/05/2024: Ci ero già stata l’anno scorso con degli amici e mi ero trovata benissimo, ieri ci sono tornata per una cena in coppia e non solo ha riconfermato quanto mi ricordavo ma mi ha colpito ancora di più. Un giardino citatissimo, fiabesco, a due passi dall’arena, per una location da 10, personale squisito, preparato, cordiale, velocissimo voto 10, pizza… wow….me la ricordavo molto buona ma quella di ieri era incredibile, si scioglieva in bocca, era perfetta, forse la pizza più buona che abbia mai mangiato, voto 10 e lode. Prezzi più che onesti. Mi sono innamorata di questo posto, che sicuramente è diventato la mia pizzeria preferita di tutta Verona e provincia. Bravi, bravi, bravi.

28/04/2024: If a place presents itself as serving gluten free pizza one could at least expect that even if a separate oven is not used, that there is the flexibility and innovation enough to use a plate when cooking the pizza to avoid contamination. In addition, if a guest has presented himself or herself as someone who can only eat gluten free, how come gluten free breadsticks are not presented to the guest when normal bread is being served to the other guests? This place is nice and the pizzas are good, but the staff need to be a bit more attentive and maybe the management a bit more innovative for a restaurant close to Piazza Bra in the heart of Verona.

07/05/2024: Very delicious food, well presented with excellent service. Vines were served directly at the table directly from the bottle. Price range for a for a full menu (3 courses) and one Glas of alcohol is 55-70 EUR pP. Absolutely recommendable, if you’re aware of a higher price point.

06/04/2024: The food is great! The service is perfect and the staff is very friendly! We came here for dinner yesterday, we loved it and we decided to go a second time today for lunch. There isn't a single downside, it's fantastic!!!

06/04/2024: Quite environment close to La Arena. We had dinner twice in only one week. Nice pizza and risotto al radicchio. The waiters were very nice.

12/03/2024: Delicious pizza, nice service. A large selection that leaves nothing to be desired. The atmosphere is not very cozy and rather cold.

02/04/2024: Beautiful cafe with terrace overlooking the river and stone bridge. The spritz comes with a snack consisting of peanuts, chips and tomato bruschetta. Fair price, clean restrooms and friendly staff.

01/04/2024: No-nonsense down-to-earth food and drinks in a magical location with views on the river and the castle. Service was friendly without groveling and efficient without pressure. We had a light lunch and drinks and enjoyed it greatly. The only downside was other guests constantly standing over our table to take selfies with the view, which cannot be blamed on the establishment.

22/04/2024: Pizza nella norma, dimensioni piccoline, rapporto qualità prezzo un po’ caro. Premessa, non sono vegetariano, ma per questioni di dieta dovevo mangiare pizza con verdure. Fra le mille pizze (compresi impasti proteici e light) una sola con solo verdure. No problem, la prendo (pizza “naif”). Davvero anemica, normale trovo le verdure grigliate, in questo caso zucchine lesse a crudo, funghi in barattolo, solo qualche traccia di radicchio e melanzane cubetti; prezzo 11€. La pizza non mi ha sfamato (sono 65kg, quindi non sono uno mangia come un bue). Mia compagna con lo stesso prezzo ha preso una pizza con la burrata, quindi direi che il condimento aveva tutt’altro valore. Pizza comunque buona, nella norma.

13/05/2024: Locale elegante e raffinato, dall’ambientazione molto intima e minimal chic. Abbiamo cenato in data 12 maggio io e mio marito. Siamo stati accolti da personale giovane, professionale, preparato e molto cordiale che ci ha saputo guidare in questa eccellente esperienza. Ingredienti di qualità eccellente, un connubio di sapori raffinati e ricercati. Assolutamente da considerarsi una tappa obbligata per ogni nostro soggiorno a Verona! Mi dispiace tanto non avervi scoperti prima! Purtroppo eravamo di fretta per via dell’orario del concerto all’Arena, ma la prossima volta vorrei provare il menù degustazione e avere il tempo di rilassarmi e godere di questa sublime esperienza. Davvero complimenti, finalmente un locale davvero fuori dalla normalità turistica del centro! Tutto davvero eccellente, top! Alla prossima sicuramente!

20/04/2024: Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, cibo di alta qualità con rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente conveniente anche se prediligo sempre la qualità rispetto al prezzo. Ambiente accogliente, rilassante con personale gentile e altamente professionale. Consigliatissimo!

09/05/2024: Very nice and welcoming place! Top staff! I came back here after many years... the risotto disappointed me a bit... Risotto with truffle with a hint of artificial truffle and the smell is unmistakable for those who know about cooking! Plates with zero decoration placed in uninviting ovals! There's a bit of color missing, come on...!!! The idea of ​​the tasting menu is a winning one and the bruschettas with sauces and bread are really, really good! 😉 courteous table service, never intrusive and the guys very well prepared! Thanks anyway for the lovely evening... there was a birthday and they sang happy birthday to the girl! It was a nice moment... very nice come on!!! The dessert... very fresh millefeuille with chantilly cream... and strawberries... I would have eaten a quintal!!!🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Thank you and well done anyway. 07/05/2024: Suggestive environment, very reminiscent of a train station, well-curated risotto tasting. Friendly staff and prices I must say are normal. The only negative note is that the coffee should be avoided.

06/04/2024: I went there with my partner and my baby. The pizza was good but above all you could feel the quality of the products, not to mention the desserts, which were delicious. Very nice place, has a large car park, I recommend booking.

04/05/2024: The food is disgusting. I ordered lasagne - the meat was poorly minced and I had to spit it out every now and then. I really wanted to eat something good, but I left hungry. I advise against it! Pizza + lasagna + 2 glasses of moskato = 50 euros
