01/05/2024: Ci siamo serviti due volte di questo ottimo servizio di asporto che si aggiunge a un ristorantino con pochi tavoli. Si può prenotare quello che si desidera dal menù e si trova tutto pronto. Tutto quello che abbiamo preso (una volta parmigiana e polpo con le patate e i pomodorini, l'altra due filetti di spigola e patatine) era buono e giusto sia nella quantità che nel prezzo. Personale molto gentile.

02/05/2024: Anyone who thinks that in a Michelin-starred restaurant one leaves hungry should go to Kresios to change their mind. We went here for dinner as the end of our trip to Campania, the evening before our return to Liguria. There couldn't have been a better ending to this holiday than this. Congratulations to all the staff, from the guys in the dining room for their preparation and friendliness, to the sommelier Alfredo who completed the dishes with the wine pairings and to the guys in the kitchen who prepared us dishes, one better than the other. Definitely worth the detour.

08/04/2024: Beautiful and above all very fun experience. We did the Mr Brown route which is divided into dishes to eat with your hands and others with cutlery. The plating of the nest was amazing and the idea of ​​the pasta was brilliant but it arrived raw, but we forgive them because mistakes can happen to anyone, the important thing is knowing how to recover. We especially liked the final part dedicated to pastry making, very tasty and interactive. It's really worth the trip. I am editing my review following a response from I don't know who since it isn't even signed. I doubt it's the chef because the evening I came he wasn't present (at this point I also hope so because he didn't even come out at the end of the service). The pasta was raw, not al dente. There's a big difference. This way of responding to a positive review is not in keeping with the level recognized by the restaurant. It shouldn't give me thought advice or suggest what to focus on. Accept criticism otherwise don't read the reviews.

05/04/2024: very nice location, excellent food but parking to be avoided, the parking attendants force you to attack the cars that you almost can't get out of, the result is that the first goat who parks next to you damages your car. 23/01/2024: Wonderful staff...excellant restaurant with unbeatable sunset... Beautiful hotel although arriving by sea from Capri was a bad start For what is the top hotel in the area they have no one meeting you from ferries to help with luggage as the top hotels do in nearby Capri. In fact, there is no help available anywhere to help with luggage and the very long walk with two large suitcases on uneven ground then with lots of steps up to vehicle pickup level is very difficult indeed for older people. Local government should sort this out. Not hotel’s fault. The general manager told me it is a big problem and that the hotel have difficulties with local authorities about this. General manager is a lovely guy. This is a very well run hotel which is absolutely beautiful. They have the most fabulous terrace where breakfast is served. Complimentary cocktails served by the pool were a lovely touch. We will definitely return.

19/01/2024: We stayed for 2 weeks in Sept 2017. First room they put us in wasn't to our liking - but they moved us to a room higher up and away from the noise of the terrace. Food was good - table services for dinner; buffet for breakfast. If you want to swim in the sea access to the public area is five mins - just make sure you turn left at the bottom, go through the gate and down the metal/wooden steps. Otherwise, on the right is Spiagga la Marinella, which is private and you pay . Update: you can almost always get access to public beaches in Italy - just do a bit of research first. If you are like me and only want to go down for a swim, then paying for access and bed isn't worth for me.

26/02/2024: I have been coming from love for exactly 15 years. Walking area and may give the idea of ​​being touristy due to the area in which it is located, but it is not at all!! Over many years, I have been able to witness the evolution and growth of this magical place. Furthermore, this year I enjoyed the magnificent dishes of chef Pasquale Rinaldo. Welcome entrée with attention to detail (that butter with anchovy?! And what are we talking about?!). Space smoked tartare!!! And then the first one that I preferred was the carbonara with scampi. A true ENJOYMENT, not only for the palate, but also for the nose! You can't tell, you have to try. So if you are in Capri you can't miss stopping by d'amore.

25/10/2023: In my opinion, there is no finer restaurant in Capri. I have gone here every year I have come and D'Amore always pleases. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional. The staff, are the greatest. You get much more than you ask for here and everything is exquisite. Thank you Marco Pasquale, Tonino, Antonella, Ernesto and all of your waiters for making me feel appreciated. See you next year! And, don't remember la musica!
