22/01/2024: I should write 2 or 3 separate reviews, depending on whether I have to review the food, or the venue or the service... the place is nice, even welcoming, the room with the exposed brazier is a plus. the food is really good, and the prices are great. I would have given it a 4.5 / 5. the flaw, very, very serious, and truly unacceptable, is the repeated swearing in a very loud voice by the (I presume) owner and chef, both in the kitchen - where unfortunately the reproaches very well came from to the staff, swearing and outbursts, and (even more serious) swearing while passing through the room (which he must pass through to go to the counter or to the warehouse, having seen him arrive with a still closed sausage). must have had a bad day, but we felt extremely uncomfortable having to eat in the presence of this person, we almost felt like we were annoying, and let's not talk about the two customers who arrived immediately after us, due to the question of a table for two, which room was in which to seat them... we ate very quickly, without fully enjoying the truly excellent food, without wanting to wait a minute longer for coffee, or a dessert... think about it for a moment, the manager or owner, I want to say that the memory that remains with us is this, and if I were to return to Venzone, I certainly wouldn't want to go back

05/04/2024: Scarpa is a historic restaurant, located in a side street of Lignano, near the centre. We came here on a Thursday to try out the new management and we were pleasantly surprised! Smiling, helpful and friendly staff. We had a Coca Cola and a glass of Malvasia with 6 croutons: bacon, lard, anchovies and butter, creamed cod, anchovies and sea bass. Definitely large, well filled and very good! Beautiful experience, definitely recommended and we will be back 😁

13/03/2024: Old-fashioned Irish pub with soft lighting and mainly rock music 🤟🏻. Lots of choice of draft beers, cocktails, sandwiches and appetizers. Ability to see the main matches and sporting events of the week. Very young friendly and helpful staff. Super recommended!!

30/03/2024: Excellent dinner, well-trained, friendly and attentive staff. Very welcoming location. We ordered a plate of red fjord beef. Before cooking we were shown the cut of the meat and the weight (1.3 kg) was indicated. The meat is served on a hot plate in order to maintain its temperature. If it cools down, it is heated again. Wide choice of wines.

The attempt to provide attentive service and a refined menu (but not sophisticated, therefore suitable for everyone) is appreciable, even if this effort leads to highlighting some shortcomings. However to be rewarded; correct quality/price ratio. To follow.

27/01/2024: Di passaggio per la tappa a Ravascletto ci siamo fermati in questo locale per il pranzo. Specialità a base di prodotti tipicamente friulani. Tra le varie proposte abbiamo mangiato la focaccia fatta in casa con prosciutto crudo San Daniele, burrata e misticanza. Molto appetitosa e ben farcita. Servizio professionale e veloce. Prezzi nella media.

14/01/2024: We found a seat by luck... after 10 minutes the place was full. The cured meats and sandwiches were very good The good guys...fast and nice. The place is clean and particular Good prices...will return...

05/11/2023: The bar is located on the beach with fine sand, next to the red lighthouse pier serving breakfast, coffee ☕️, drinks, toast, sandwiches, salads 🥗 ice cream, and alcohol. It's not nice to see bees on top of breakfast croissants or donuts, I would put them on a transparent display case indoors. Slightly high costs, clean, well maintained. Staff not cheerful and not very trained. There are 2 bathrooms: one squat and one for disabled people. They could stock soap and sanitizing gel and keep the bathroom cleaner. For the rest ok. 03/04/2024: It would also be a very nice environment and with a decent beer (also given the area) but if I have to go and spend my money to be treated badly by the owner then no! Not recommended!

31/03/2024: Nice place to spend an evening with friends. Friendly and helpful owner. Too bad for the staff. Not very friendly, doesn't talk to customers, doesn't say thank you and treats them in an annoyed manner.
