Oltre ad aver ritrovato dei piatti fantastici di cui per anni ho ricordato il sapore, ho avuto modo di scoprire e apprezzare nuovi esperimenti con risultato eccezionale che mi hanno lasciata a bocca aperta. Parlo di esperimenti perché mangiare un risotto con il gelato è anche questo, e che sublime sorpresa! Impeccabili anche nel consiglio dell'abinamento dei vini, un menù creato con passione e ricerca per creare delle esperienze. Il servizio è nuovo rispetto a qualche anno fa, ma sposa perfettamente l'idea di quel che vogliono comunicare con il cibo: il ragazzo sa veramente fare di questo mestiere un arte. 03/04/2024: We went to this place on Easter Sunday. We booked in advance asking if there was the possibility of a fixed menu. We were told no. The table behind had a set menu. But when we booked the table we were not told anything. When we asked for a fixed menu we were told no. Why if you could do it instead? I would like to underline that the dishes arrived wrong. Maybe it's better that he tries asking his collaborators. An extra plate of bruschetta arrived, an extra second course, a wrong dessert and TWO times limoncello was brought (which wasn't even limoncello) instead of grappa. So to say that it was promptly replaced doesn't seem right to me. An owner who responds to a negative criticism from a customer by laughing in his face doesn't seem professional at all to me, on the contrary..... Maybe your philosophy is: who cares about negative customer comments, most of the reviews are positive. Sometimes in life you need to question yourself. Your answers, dear owner, are unprofessional and full of touchiness and even a hint of rudeness.

01/04/2024: Restaurant in the historic center of Tarquinia, a stone's throw from the cathedral and the museum. Nothing to say about the food, cooked well even if there were no exclamation point dishes. Ambience and service left something to be desired. Yesterday, therefore not in summer, a 9-seat table placed one meter in front of the entrance door, with all the smokers coming in and out continuously, without a shred of counterpart or air curtain, is one thing which denotes neglect towards some of the customers. Moving on to the service, beyond the wrong or extra courses (!) and the grappas exchanged for limoncello, no one was able to explain to us why someone (the locals?) could order the wine in bulk and someone else (the tourists?) had to force you to order the most expensive bottled wine. The price? 53 euros each. What to say? Cross above....

06/04/2024: My husband and I stopped here for a quick lunch. The coffee and the food were extremely good. The owner a very pleasant young man. We started to talk with 2 other patrons:2 young ladies one of them from NYC, almost our neighbour. Lots of choices both savory and sweet.

First courses at €5.00 and really good. coffee €1, why spend more? Kindness and professionalism, the best bar in Viterbo (I travel around the city a lot and I assure you that it is like this)

12/03/2024: I had asked for tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms but received tagliatelle with porcini mushroom slime. Ok, I don't pretend they had fresh mushrooms, but even frozen ones, if you know how to work, can be presentable. The restaurant is old and poorly lit, not exactly a welcoming environment that makes you want to return.

Location essenziale ma piacevole per le pareti quasi totalmente vetrate che danno l'impressione di pranzare nel bosco.
