The cassatelle (horse meatballs with pistachio) are a must try. When other places change, in prices, quality and products, Mantellina remains the same: Excellent!

07/04/2024: The one in Belpasso (Etnapolis) has always been the best OWW in the Catania area. The difference has always been made by the staff as they are capable, professional, good-looking, very sociable but not intrusive and who believe in their work. the rest is completed by the very high quality of the raw materials and the excellent preparation of the cuisine. Large rooms Ideal for families and anyone who wants to spend a cheerful evening. Possibility to play at the end of the meal with a varied variety of board games. Five-a-side football, carom and giant screen complete the setting. In my opinion, the choice of beers offered is limited but very suitable. Medium-high prices but you pay for the quality!!! Checking the green pass and all the procedures required during this pandemic. Good fun

06/04/2024: Don't hesitate to pass through the door of this small traditional restaurant! Magnificent surprise, it's family-friendly, you eat on a bench with a plastic glass but you are in the ideal place for Sicilian street food! The welcome is great and you will feel at home, with excellent value for money as well.

30/03/2024: We stopped to try the famous horse meat and were not disappointed. The meatballs were very tender and all the preparations were very tasty but not heavy to digest. We also tried the famous stigghiola, if you are not used to it I recommend adding chilli pepper to tone down the "intestine" taste

29/03/2024: Davvero un bel locale con una bella atmosfera, cibo qualità prezzo davvero ottima, presenza di carni veramente importanti che prevalgono con autorità sulla presentazione del locale... personale professionale e molto disponibile... lo consiglio a tutti coloro che hanno voglia di mangiare della "VERA" carne a doc👌e vuole svariate anche con panini e antipasti da leccarsi i baffi. Davvero un bel 10!

07/04/2024: We had dinner at the Tavernetta with my family, ordering pizzas, one of which was gluten-free. The choice of gluten-free pizza was conditioned by the toppings available without contamination, however the dough was good and soft!

30/03/2024: A space-saving place that mainly serves outdoor tables overlooking the town's pedestrian area. I had dinner with Piedmontese Fassona fillet with a side of mashed potatoes and draft beer. Food served well. The meat cooked as requested was tasty and of good quality. Friendly and helpful staff. Service at the right times. Possibility to choose between different brands of good beer. Prices on average in relation to what I consumed.

18/02/2024: I had the pleasure of spending an evening at the Smiley Steak House for an aperitif. Very welcoming and well-kept place, the service was simply excellent: the staff was quick to serve, friendly and attentive to our needs.

11/02/2024: What a fabulous restaurant. Tucked away. A lovely steak house and generous portions reasonably priced. Revised yet again 9th February. Had fabulous quatro burger. Delicious 😋 a must place to visit

07/04/2024: Small gem of a bistro, in Via P. di Belmonte, with a very well-kept, warm, welcoming outdoor area in an easy-modern style. Essential menu, including traditional Sicilian and international dishes, including tongs, pleasantly elaborated, paying attention to the seasonality of the raw materials used. Particularly positive note goes to their home made breads and pastas. Decent wine list, unfortunately, latent in the section dedicated to bubbles, full-bodied, instead of excellent cocktails. Friendly, fast helpful service, where a friendly, funny and thoughtful "Patron" is the key. Excellent value for money, especially for the excellent The Fork discounts promptly applied
