The staff are experts in pairing wines with the delicious dishes on offer, guiding you through a complete and satisfying gastronomic journey. The staff, expertly led by Cristina, stands out for its courtesy and professionalism. Cristina, in particular, made the evening unforgettable for my boyfriend, taking care of my wishes and creating a perfect corner for us in the room, next to the lit fireplace, with surprising ideas and impeccable execution. Her sweetness and attention to detail helped make the experience even more memorable. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because the "Al Monastero" restaurant deserves them all for its extraordinary culinary experience, enchanting atmosphere and impeccable service. It is a true jewel in the heart of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. I highly recommend it!

The dishes are authentic and delicious, prepared with fresh and local ingredients and takes you to discover the Friulian tradition. 23/03/2024: I've been both outside and inside to eat. Although the interior is very welcoming, I prefer the tables outside. It's a beautiful setting 5 steps from the devil's bridge. Excellent service, friendly staff, tasty food and really good ice cream. Also positive is their Gjulia craft beer.

13/03/2024: It was already 2pm and we were still looking for a restaurant. Finally an entrance, near the almost hidden cathedral. The menu included almost exclusively 'frico' (processed cheese). We chose the one with potatoes. Never found one so good!!! I was worried about my digestion: no problem! Modest prices.
