Very characteristic place within the Sassi of Matera.
Top staff, the guy who served us was very nice and competent in advising us and explaining the various dishes.
Truly top-quality traditional Motera food with spectacular flavor and flavours.
Starter, first courses, second courses, desserts and truly top wine.
The small glasses of digestive offered at the end of the dinner were much appreciated.
Highly recommended🔝
24/03/2024: The atmosphere and service here are very nice. The prices are very reasonable but we were underwhelmed with our food. Both the cavatelli and the paccheri were just okay, but we enjoyed better at other less frequented spots in matera.

26/03/2024: As promised, I returned to a place that had particularly fascinated me. From the engaging atmosphere to the exquisite and high-quality dishes. I found everything very good and once again they managed to satisfy me and my friends, who would like to return as soon as possible! Value for money is right as a dish of a certain type corresponds to a price that makes it worthy.
07/03/2024: Sono spesso a Matera ed il Ristorante Francesca è una tappa fissa. Cucina della tradizione con qualche rivisitazione e materia prima eccellente. Personale di sala giovane, attento e mai invedente. Per me il miglior ristorante della città per cucina, servizio e rapporto qualità prezzo

16/03/2024: Cucina di alto livello. Piatti tipici e molto curati con un’ottima varietà. Il suino nero mi ha estasiato. Prezzi nella norma per essere un ristorante di alto livello. Buona cantina dei vini. Il posto è scavato nei sassi e molto suggestivo. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Lo chef nonché il proprietario molto simpatico e carismatico. Lo consiglio.

02/03/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo bellissimo ristorante, molto elegante e raffinato... primi ottimi come pure i secondi... molto particolare il tiramisù con pane di Matera dove il croccante si fonde alla perfezione con la crema mascarpone... ci ritorneremo di sera quando il menù è più variegato ... prezzo coerente con qualità del cibo , servizio e contesto... eccellente
13/01/2024: Mi dispiace per la recensione Negativa ma.... Bel posto, molto accogliente e suggestivo, prezzi alti rispetto alla quantità e alla qualità delle portate... Al momento dell arrivo scopriamo che la pizzeria non era piu disponibile, in contrasto con le foto del sito. Peccato. Ci ritorneremo???
