04/04/2024: We had a very frugal lunch snack. Great surprise like staying in Sicily, compliments paid directly to the chef, an exquisite and kind person like the staff 😉. It will be a fixed stop. 😉

03/04/2024: The bar itself is nice. The food is decent, both the desserts and the rustic ones, even if for my taste they are all too overloaded with ingredients (too much oil, too much ham, too sweet, too much everything) as if to underline that in Sicily people eat a lot (true, but not everything overcooked). The only BIG flaw is the service. The rustic counter is missing labels indicating the ingredients. YOU MUST PUT THE TAGS INDICATION OF WHAT'S INSIDE and YOU MUST ALSO DISPLAY THE PRICES. If I don't know what's inside a rustic house, how do I choose it???. The guy at the counter even tells you...(In addition to creating kilometric queues) but he forgets to tell you half the ingredients and more than once I was forced to throw away what I had purchased because I couldn't eat it.

12/05/2024: Negative experience!!! The result of when too many place settings are accepted in the face of a kitchen that cannot manage them. 1.30 pm: we sit down (booked). Many things on the menu were already finished, the starters arrived raw, the wait for the first course to arrive was over an hour and a half. To forget!!!

12/05/2024: Good restaurant. With good value for money. The servers are very friendly and smiling. Fast service despite being full. The terrace lacks charm but after dark the defects disappear. You absolutely must book.

06/04/2024: Where to start from? When we did the reservation, we received an email stating that if we are more than 10 minutes late, they will give the table to someone else, which is fair. But in contrast, they opened 5 minutes later than they announced. It's also okay but it's a matter of principle. The service was good and the team was helpful. But the dinning experience was average at best. We took the 6-course surprise menu. Which eventually was comprised of one plate of raw fish (where some pieces where still equipped with sharp spines and some scales), another simple salad also with raw fish (which was so uninteresting except that the tomato was very good), then grilled cheese with also fish, then Calamari pasta with squid ink (which was way too saucy and fishy), then a fish head ( which was not well cooked). I expected a conflicting food experience but we good all sea food plates which was overload. I thought none of the dishes، except the squid pasta، was innovative enough. Other than the food, when we got the white wine bottle, we had to ask for a cooling container. The table has this paper sheets placed in front of each person which gives a feeling of eating in fast food places. And finally the men toilet has no lock.

06/04/2024: I regret leaving a negative review, but I advise you to avoid Buatta. This is a restaurant that has no spark, neither at the level of the staff (who don't seem to care at all about either the customers or the menu) nor the level of the cuisine (poorly cooked dishes). You will eat better and be more welcomed in any Palermo trattoria rather than this restaurant which claims to be haute cuisine but which lives off its reputation.

07/05/2024: I celebrated my son's baptism here with family, ideal for inviting a whole family with affordable prices. Very friendly service.

04/05/2024: We ate very well. Obviously there is a lot based on horse meat but there are also many dishes with different meats. You pay the right amount.

02/04/2024: Vomiting 🤮 if it were possible to put - stars I would put them. We came across this place by chance, searching on Google, and the reviews didn't seem too bad. Only later did I deduce that these positive reviews necessarily come from people who don't know how to eat. We ordered a Cous Cous with fish and vegetables, the fish was spoiled! Inedible! Freshly there wasn't even a napkin at the table. Then some spaghetti alla Bottarga: very salty and in a bath of oil, these too are inedible. Spaghetti allo scoglio, also made with frozen preparation, disgusting. And the mussel sauté, frozen mussels of the worst kind, cooked in lemon juice. Really everything is nauseating and vomiting. I was sick all night, we would have needed gastric lavage even if we only tasted the dishes. The place was also full, I really don't understand how they can eat in a place like this! To be avoided like the plague, not recommended.

31/03/2024: Nice place, pleasant food even if the fish was obviously defrosted. Regarding the decidedly poor service, too slow, arrived at 1.30pm, the starters arrived only at 3pm and then the first course arrived at 4.45pm.... I thought I had booked for lunch, not dinner… Bad experience
