19/03/2024: If you are in Emilia Romagna, and would like to dine in a magical place, my advice is definitely the Enoteca Bistrot Colonna. Located in Bertinoto on the Forlì hills, the restaurant is housed within the walls of the old cinema, a structure that as soon as you cross the threshold transports you into a world that exudes history, a place lived in and frequented by local people who have seen the films of the time. Once inside you are immediately captivated by the atmosphere made up of soft lights, memories and music. In fact, Luca sits at the grand piano and gives his harmonious and warm notes to those present, who arrive in all their sweetness and without having the overbearing claim to overwhelm the words, which can flow freely alongside the desire to converse. Marilena always welcomes you with her contagious smile and guides you on a journey of taste through traditional Emilia Romagna dishes, and an important choice regarding the wine list. The dinner flows away perfectly with the excellent cuisine and the notes of the piano, a perfect combination that captures your memories and keeps them in your heart, with the promise of returning and repeating that experience. Try the Enoteca Bistrot Colonna, I'm sure that in the end you will tell me: you were right.

27/03/2024: I am from Romagna but have been transplanted to Veneto for 30 years, a return to my native lands and a lunch with my wife at Vecia Cantena D'La Pre'. We took simple dishes, dishes from my childhood. A bruschetta, excellent in everything, from the right "searing" of the bread to the mix of flavours, a tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, rough, generously seasoned, thick and cooked... like my mother's, I was moved. Finally, a tasting of cheeses, among which a 30-month pit-matured cheese stood out, and this is where they brought us piadina and piaVina, an evolution invented by chef Barbara, you can't tell the pairing with the cheeses, you can only taste it . All while drinking a Sangiovese... well, it was born as a cellar, granted it was up to par. Lastly, the price is very honest. P.S. A special thanks to the guys in the room, kind and smiling, a joy

Visitata a Gennaio 2024 con la mia famiglia, ci ha rapiti con il suo fascino intramontabile. Immersi nel suggestivo contesto delle cantine medievali, siamo stati trasportati indietro nel tempo. Le mura che raccontano secoli di storia e la scalinata che conduce dalle epoche medioevali a quelle romane creano un'atmosfera unica e avvolgente. La cucina romagnola si esprime al massimo delle sue potenzialità. Dai primi piatti alla fiorentina, ogni boccone è un viaggio nei sapori autentici della tradizione locale. Il Garganelli ha riscattato la leggera sottostima di quantità del bis di primi, mostrandosi eccellente. Il personale e il titolare incarnano l'essenza dell'ospitalità romagnola: gentilezza e disponibilità accompagnano ogni momento della cena, rendendola ancora più memorabile. Consigli per i Visitatori: Non perdetevi l'opportunità di esplorare le cantine sotterranee, un viaggio nel passato che arricchisce l'esperienza culinaria. E non dimenticate di assaggiare la torta alle mele, un vero capolavoro da non perdere. 03/04/2024: I'm from Cesenatico and I know many places but here near home I didn't expect to find such good and gourmet pizzas. Accustomed to always having ham and mushrooms, here I trusted the waiter and ordered the "mortazza" pizza (mortadella, pistachios, gorgonzola and much more), wow, how good!! A truly special mouth-watering pizza (which I don't have!!) I will definitely be back to enjoy another specialty and another dessert!
01/04/2024: Very nice place, very kind staff (we were looked after by Martina), carefully prepared and particular dishes. The fried food is very light and crunchy. Well done to the crew, keep going.

05/04/2024: We had a wonderful meal in this delightful typical restaurant. I loved the decor which maintained its old style charm and created a warm, friendly atmosphere. As a group we had generous antipastas not just with a selection of cold cuts and local cheeses but with warm melt-in-the-mouth cheese soufflés in a broccoli sauce. Excellent pasta with proper ragù was followed by a light tiramisù. All of thus including wine water and coffee came to 25 euros a head. Needless to say I thoroughly recommend this hidden treasure.
04/04/2024: If you go to Forlì for any reason you cannot miss eating here. Everything's perfect. But remember to book.

24/03/2024: I return to Saluma, with my wife, after a happy experience a few months ago. Same situation: Saturday lunch. Apparently nothing has changed: 'tailor-made' place, delicate and comfortable, discreet service. But things are no longer as they were a few months ago. The starter courses are completely anonymous, devoid of personality, if we exclude the final course, a nice plate of baked razor clams, really good. I noticed that, compared to a few months ago, the quality of the oil has worsened a lot: in a (rightly) simple fish cuisine like that of Saluma, the quality of the oil is fundamental. Once the appetizers are finished, with a sense of disappointment, a first course arrives - as usual. One and only one, in a tasting menu like the one that Saluma offers, is fine, and that's fine: but it is an unthinkable "risotto". It has a vague flavor of the sea, but there are no traceable traces of fish, nor of molluscs, nor of crustaceans: what emerges, in an overly accentuated wave, are strips of vegetables, ribs and beets, and a vague taste of sea. It's not inedible, but I certainly won't drive two hours (we came to Saluma da Correggio) to eat a risotto like that. But it's not over: when it's time to pay the bill I ask what that risotto was. The answer was the most embarrassing thing of the day: "There were supposed to be clams, but since there was a person allergic to clams we only used the clam water, then there was a ragout of baby octopus and strips of vegetables." I am stunned, and I notice that there was no trace of the octopus ragout. The answer makes the situation worse: "You know, they wear out during cooking." Are octopus eaten while cooking? and since when?. And then: in the whole restaurant there is a person allergic to clams (and the question would be: what did they do to eat fish?), and you, instead of cooking separately for that person, offer them to the whole customers a risotto like this? There are no words. After the risotto, the waiter asks: "Do you also want fried food?". What, do you "also" want fried food? This is why we are here, the tasting menu (until now disappointing) includes it, of course we want it. It wasn't a happy ending: the fried food was poor, anonymous, sad, sloppy, poorly presented. We would have gladly paid the bill of 120 euros (including wines) if we had been treated differently. An injury? No, something has changed, and the explanations about risotto are offensive. Saluma has closed for us.
