13/03/2024: Era la seconda volta, dopo Kensho, che provavo un sushi a Torino. Il locale, nei pressi di Porta Susa, è molto elegante con una decina di tavoli. I prodotti sono di ottima qualità, pesce fresco e preparato con cura. Ho scelto un classico sashimi, nigiri salmon, gunak salmon e tropical salmon [Sì in effetti ho una passione smodata per il salmone]. In due, 70 euro a persona. Molto buono.

Unfortunately this evening, beyond the fact that the nigiri combinations were less elaborate than previous occasions, the sushi rice was a little raw than usual. I hope you accept this review not as a criticism of the restaurant and that it was simply a mistake.

28/03/2024: I had takeout a few days ago and I swear I can't stop thinking about the food. I went on a classic Gyoza + Karaage, got some rice and edamame. I loved how delicate the food was, as well as easy to digest. I look forward to more of it :)

09/03/2024: Let me start by saying that going to eat here is not easy because in addition to not taking reservations and, given the small place it is, they have a timetable policy that is certainly not customer-focused. On the first attempt we showed up at 2pm to eat and were told that the kitchen would be closing in a few minutes so they couldn't give us almost anything, basically they didn't welcome us at 2pm... Oh well. On the second attempt we go early, the place is empty, we ordered but five years passed before the rice burgers arrived, the two girls who serve are not at all capable of organizing their work, so the service is definitely lacking. The dishes on the other hand weren't that bad, with the exception of a donburi with tempura crumbs that tasted like absolutely nothing.

02/04/2024: Excellent place for a quick oriental snack. Exceptional desserts and drinks with very delicate and refined flavours. I find it a shame that there is only one flavor of mochi per day because it can limit the choice, despite it being one of the best desserts, but a couple of fixed classic flavors and the rotating special one would be appreciated instead. A little small place that can get noisy quickly, but all in all well organised.

02/04/2024: A fantastic lunch First time in this Due Mappamondi Guida Gambero Rosso restaurant, which offers traditional Japanese cuisine as well as innovative Fusion proposals. It is located a stone's throw from Piazza San Carlo, in via Secondo Frola, 4/B. The atmosphere you experience as soon as you enter is of a modern and carefully furnished environment. We tasted Trio Mare e Monti (Mini flambéed scallop tartare - chifa sauce, Nigiri seared salmon - aji amarillo cream, Nigiri foie gras Roasted Rougié - garlic teriyaki), Gyoza Mix (Composition of the four tapioca flour ravioli: Cuttlefish, Prawns , Pork and Vegetables), Iberian Pig (Iberian pork cheek in hoisin sauce, steamed Bao and kimizu sauce), Classic Mixed Sashimi 12 pcs (Selection of raw fish and shellfish by the Chef), Special Nigiri Mix 6 pcs (Mixed selection special nigiri), Amaebi Roll 4 pcs (Red prawns from Mazara del Vallo, Argentinian prawns, salad, avocado, tobiko and mango and passion fruit sauce), Hotate Kai 4 pcs (Rice with squid ink, scallops, avocado, yuzu zest and mandarin sauce), Yaki Udon (Thick soft wheat spaghetti, prawns, vegetables, eggs and flakes of Katsuobushi smoked tuna), all truly delicious and made with excellent raw materials. The room service is professional and precise. The prices of the dishes are appropriate to the proposal and the quality offered. Excellent address, absolutely worth a try.

A truly remarkable establishment! The sushi selection is nothing short of remarkable. Each piece is a testament to the chef's precision and creativity, seamlessly blending traditional techniques with innovative twists. My boyfriend has been multiple times in Japan and said that the quality of the cut and the quality of the fish is incredibly high! Fresh and vibrant, we felt transported away from Torino straight to Japan. (The Iberian pork is a must-try, I often read a lot of reviews and didn’t see it anywhere in the reviews so I’m mentioning it - unfortunately I forgot to take a picture: it is a bao with a delicious tender meat and there was a yellow paste (not sure what it was but was delicious). Regarding the service it was impeccable! I could go on and on but I will simply summarize with : the food was exceptional and definitely more than worth the price.

05/04/2024: I felt like I was going back to the first all you can eat sushi (the good ones). In fact, the few contaminations (which often ruin and cover the original flavours) have highlighted the freshness of the product. Today it is difficult to find a sushi menu that is simple and not with various sauces and sauces on it. You can feel the difference. We mostly ate sushi, but the vegetable tempura and miso soup were also very good. The only thing that didn't convince us was the tempura shrimp. But otherwise promoted from all points of view, including that of service, a young man who is attentive and very kind. We'll be back soon!
