12/03/2024: Elegant and refined restaurant. Excellent welcome, the waiter even brought a bowl of water to our little dog. Good food, fair portions and well presented. The desserts a little below average compared to the high quality of the other courses, but good. We chose three courses each, no tasting menu, the bill was reasonable. I recommend it to anyone looking for a special experience.

04/03/2024: Pretentious. 3-course lunch (uncooked starter, first and second course) served in almost 3 hours. The staff apologized because one of the boys in the kitchen had felt ill but this cannot justify the unreasonable times in the room: half an hour before the bread arrived and another half hour, after a reminder, from the moment of the request for a second bottle of water. The menu is also questionable. We had previously called to ascertain the presence of vegetarian alternatives, but with the exception of two starters (one of which consists of a puree of broad beans and chicory) and a rather banal first course (therefore a forced choice), it is not possible to eat anything else.

03/04/2024: I don't comment on the food, because the owner did not at all kindly invite us to go out since we were 20 minutes late (for which we had also apologized) due to problems that should not have interested him: in these cases, one should simply accept the apologies and at most tell us that the kitchen is now closed or that the place is full; (fun fact, the place was completely empty and in fact the owner told us on the phone that never before would we have endless seats). In short, we enter and this guy was already looking askance, making us notice, with the help of a very poor Italian and with the gestures of a country boy that we had, and I quote to paraphrase, "been quite late", so I, feeling unwelcome, told him that, if it had been a problem, we would have left, and he, in Avigliano dialect, gruffly told us that the door was there. Now, one also wants to try to support the local economy, but such rude, pretentious and grumpy people (despite the place being empty), deserve failure. I understand the delay, but education should not be lacking, especially for people who work closely with the public. One thing is for sure, I will never set foot in that place again and I will recommend doing the same to everyone I know and anyone who reads this review.

23/01/2024: Ristorante già visitato negli anni passati. Già il livello era alto ma ha raggiunto un livello davvero eccellente. C'è veramente l' imbarazzo della scelta. Fra le varie proposte io ho scelto un carpaccio di spigola su cuc cus all'arancia. Spaghetti ai ricci di mare. Frittura. Tutto eccellente. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

26/09/2023: Struttura situata in una oasi di pace e tranquillità dove il rumore che domina è il fruscio delle pale eoliche che fendono l'aria. Meraviglioso il bosco che la circonda dove si possono fare passeggiate rilassanti e rigeneranti in mezzo a profumi inebrianti. Molto piacevoli gli alloggi,tutti indipendenti e con un piccolo patio davanti. Splendida l'area piscina circondata dalla tipica macchia mediterranea e dotata di un piccolo ma delizioso bar che prepara ottimi aperitivi. Menzione speciale la merita Dario, il simpaticissimo proprietario, sempre attento alle esigenze degli ospiti e prodigo a soddisfarle. Cibo genuino, prelibato e a volontà. Che dire... È stata una vacanza estremamente rilassante e piacevole. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Abbiamo vissuto un esperienza piacevolissima la cucina offre a pranzo piatti tipici dai prodotti raccolti nel loro orto donando con semplicità piatti succulenti Dario il titolare sa come accogliere tutti i suoi avventori come un vero padrone di casa ci ha fatto sentire coccolati L agriturismo ha camere confortevoli e offre una piscina naturale per garantire relax e benessere Un luogo da vivere molto presto grazie ancora consigliatissimo

Il personale disponibile ed ospitale....un ringraziamento in particolare a Barbara che ci ha coccolato e consigliato ottimamente...Il cibo è cucinato con sapiente maestria...gioia per gli occhi e per il palato. 10/03/2024: On March 8th, after a conference held in the council chamber of the Municipality, we had the honor of having dinner in this restaurant which immediately proved to be a guarantee. The location, very refined and refined, as well as the dishes plated with skill and obtained from the union of quality ingredients. Abundant dishes brought to the table by highly qualified staff. The added value of this structure always remains the owner "Fabrizio", kind, courteous and friendly, he welcomed us making us feel at home. I will definitely return there during a motorbike trip or bike ride. Therefore I highly recommend it to anyone who is in Lagonegro and would like to stop and eat excellently, feeling at home.

The traditional Lucanian dishes are prepared with exceptional raw materials, the oil at the table is an addiction, the service is kind and precise, the location is surrounded by greenery. All this allows you to spend a beautiful day in peace and with excellent food. With my family we travel 150km to come here at least 3 or 4 times a year. The prices are honest and I can assure you that in other cities you pay double to eat with significantly lower quality. Furthermore, Thorny is worth a visit for its landscapes and the peace of nature that surrounds it. Come and you won't be disappointed!

The fantastic location overlooking the Port, the refined and very tasty dishes, with new combinations that make them unique. An appreciation also for the dining room staff ready to guide you in your choice, attentive to every customer request and to make you feel at home. I highly recommend it!

Here you can find the true Lucanian flavours, simple, genuine and of the highest quality, everything is homemade, from the bread to the pasta, to the cured meats (from their own breeding, exceptional). Every month, in addition to the classic menu, there is a menu special dedicated to an ingredient such as truffles, donkey, game and so on and every time we have been more than satisfied both with the quality of the raw materials and with the preparation of the dishes. The value for money is amazing! Finally Rocco and his wife are fantastic hosts who pamper you from the starter to the digestives (even the homemade ones).
