02/12/2023: Ahhhh….Italy… What you see is NOT what you get. A group of six friends stayed at this place. We were all completely shocked the minute we walked inside, very different from what they presented online and what you actually see. First shocker was the location. This Villa is located in a very suburban industrial town with old, beat up buildings, unattractive landscaping and no views... Located about 45 min from Florence by car or 30 min by train. There's absolutely nothing to do in the evening around the Villa unless you buy 50 bottles of wine and beer and ton of food from the nearby Coop supermarket and make your own fun by the pool or go to bed very early. The food and wine were absolutely fantastic. Don't expect to be pampered. So-called Kitchen was what looked like a large size wardrobe in the middle of the living room. Somewhat useful but lacked bare necessities such as a microwave, a toaster, salt and pepper, etc. Had a tiny refrigerator too. Air conditioning didn't work property in all the rooms. Had to ask to be fixed. TV had no service in all the rooms so we couldn't watch it. No iron or iron board in any of the rooms - had to ask for it. No pool towels, had to use our bath towels. If you want extra towels or change of fresh towels they charge you additional money. Nothing would dry overnight or during the day, had to use wet towels after a shower most of the time. If you want fresh bed linen you'll have to pay extra. No warm comforters - had to ask for one. Hair dryers in all the rooms were broken - had to ask for one which was provided for all the rooms to share. Bedrooms were on the 2nd level and the stairs were pretty steep, not ideal for someone with a bad knees or hip or a handicap person. So if you use the bathroom at night you might break your neck going down the stairs in the dark, we had to leave the lights on in the bathroom. Mattress was hard to sleep on and bed linen/cover looked dirty and unattractive. There was only a small couch to sit on in the living room and a small kitchen table for two. And there was no washer and dryer on premises. There was no breakfast in the morning offered. Very deseaving and dissapointing. Not the most comfortable or romantic accommodations by any means.

19/12/2023: In zona per lavoro desideravo fare un pranzo veloce e frugale... desideravo mangiare un lampredotto e tramite TA sono venuto a conoscenza di questo locale. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, il lampredotto buono ma anch'io sinceramente non l'ho trovato "eccelso" come si possono mangiare in altre località in toscana (si leggano le altre recensioni). Comunque tutto sommato ho gustato il mio pranzo e soddisfatto la mia voglia, non sono toscano e quindi mi sono accontentato ma spero che il gestore prenda spunto da queste critiche costruttive e faccia uno sforzo per migliorare sia per mantenere questa tradizione culinaria sia perché il locale ha sicuramente delle potenzialità.

14/10/2023: Già l'inizio è stato pessimo.prenotato all'esterno due giorni prima ci hanno detto ok, poi volevano metterci all'interno con un caldo eccessivo, solo insistendo ci hanno sistemato all'esterno. Il motivo erano due tavolate da organizzare. Tempi di attesa per 4 pizze, più di un'ora. Abbiamo accettato perché dove andare sennò? Ci hanno proposto di ingannare l'attesa con antipasto di terra, perché era l'unica cosa fredda che sarebbe arrivata prima degli altri pasti, da preparare caldi, invece anche quelli sono arrivati solo dopo mezz'ora.. Vuoi la serata no, mancanza di personale? Vuoi il locale troppo affollato.. Se non sei in grado di soddisfare i clienti, non accettare più prenotazioni. Avrei almeno apprezzato uno sforzo del gestore di un piccolo sconto. Es. Dolci in omaggio. Ma niente, la professionalità non è di casa. Basta un po' di accoglienza in più. Un riconoscimento va soltanto ai due poveri e soli due camerieri che si sono fatti un bel mazzo e anche al cuoco. Spero per loro che trovino un altro posto di lavoro. Se lo meritano! Anche il locale avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. Ah, dimenticavo per due antipasti di terra, 16 euro cadauno, 3 pizze, 12 euro l'una, 5 birre medie, 1 bottiglia di acqua e due dolci, totale 108 euro. FOLLIA PURA!!!!

09/09/2023: Sono stata stasera a cena con mio marito. Sin dal primo momento in cui siano entrati, siamo stati accolti cordialmente e subito accompagnati al nostro tavolo. Io ho mangiato un antipasto misto di mare e una grigliata di mare,tutto buonissimo, cotto egregiamente e porzioni generose, presentate in maniera invitante Mio marito ha mangiato i crostini misti e la pizza, anche i suoi piatti erano belli, invitanti e dal gusto eccellente. Abbiamo preso entrambi il tiramisù a fine cena ed era buonissimo. I ragazzi dello staff, gentili, cordiali, preparati e alla mano.Il locale bello, pulito e ha una meravigliosa terrazza!Che dire, tutto è stato perfetto! Ve lo consiglio! Ci torneremo sicuramente!
