26/02/2024: Ecco un indirizzo da scoprire: la coppia che gestisce tutto fa sentire subito la loro passione, già come viene descritto il menu, capiamo che amano il loro lavoro e lo fanno con grande garbo. Non manca la chiacchierata con tutti e i consigli giusti. Ho pranzato due giorni di seguito in questo locale con una collega e ci siamo goduti tutto. Ve lo consiglio vivamente.

24/03/2024: Pizzeria restaurant found by chance on the way back from Lucca. The environment and the staff are simple, welcoming and warm, like being at home. Fast service and quality food. Excellent prices. Advised!

18/03/2024: I can only say that for my mother's birthday she made us have an excellent evening Francesca managed to satisfy small, old and vegetarians in one great evening Francesca......the pizza chef is also very good, his focaccia is exceptional

The perfect service also satisfied me with a delicious encore of bread with oil... a restaurant specialized in preparing the best dishes of traditional Tuscan cuisine, in the beating heart of Garfagnana. Tasted an exceptional spelled soup... Excellent oil. Place with historical signs hanging on the walls... Very very beautiful

07/04/2024: The best pasta we had the pleasure of eating on our vacation to Italy this year!! A somewhat unusual concept: you go to the checkout, order and are then assigned to a table to which the food is then brought. At the checkout, every dish on the small but very unusual menu was explained to us in English by the very friendly employee. The selection of homemade pasta dishes was great and also ideal for vegetarians and vegans. After a short wait, the food was brought by the friendly staff and a real taste explosion awaited us! You could tap water into a small carafe for free the whole time - mega! All 3 dishes were amazing. I would have liked to order more, but instead decided on espresso and dessert. The dessert was also great and I would happily come back or recommend the restaurant to others! The nice atmosphere with self-painted place cards rounded off our great visit. 🍝💚🤍❤️

02/03/2024: Un locale interessante, di livello, con piatti toscani non banali specie nella tecnica di cottura,ben presentati, abbondanti. Un ambiente, nemmeno quello banale,caldo, con una quantità consistente di oggetti alle pareti ognuno con la sua storia. Un'accoglienza cordiale, poi sempre più aperta, ma sempre rispettosa. Un conto che non altera il senso di piacere per avere trascorso una serata rilassante con amici in casa di.....amici.

25/10/2023: The pearl of Villa Martha's - restaurant! Perfect service, pleasant atmosphere, very cozy and romantic place. Exquisite dishes, beautiful presentation and reasonable prices. One minus was the long wait for the main dishes. Although all this did not spoil the mood.

01/04/2024: For Easter, 15 of us had lunch in this excellent restaurant: everything was delicious from the starter to the dessert; impeccable service, very courteous. Well done Aurelia!!!!

Sommelier and person of great company but above all an excellent advisor, let him accompany you in choosing the dishes and you will be amazed. Thanks again for everything from the metalworker who wanted to be a sommelier. David

19/04/2024: Dinner at this place. Rather dated furnishings (very 90s) but clean and tidy. Service carried out with courtesy, punctuality and kindness but the opening of the bottle of wine leaves a lot to be desired (performed with the back of the customer who ordered it). Normal food, good but without particular emotions. Truly delicious desserts. Decent wine list but could be improved. A little expensive given the quality and location. I suggest greater attention when opening the wine, to be done in front of the customer and without unusual movements. The cuisine needs improvement: the flavors are good but a little flat: the chef can dare more, and he has all the capabilities. He must put the same passion into preparing dishes that he puts into desserts.

17/02/2024: Locale non molto curato o comunque non come mi aspettavo per come viene venduto ( opere d’arte mmm non proprio purtroppo ) un po’ troppo confusionario. Potrebbe essere sistemato meglio ma tralasciando questo che alla fine poco importa purtroppo il menu non all’altezza del prezzo. Si presentano le cameriere molto gentili e offrono un entree di tapioca accompagnata da due salse una ai pomodori secchi e una al cavolo , e questo devo dire la cosa più buona mangiata. Tagliere di salumi contenente solo due salumi : Un Prosciutto spagnolo ( non sono molto convinta che lo sia stato , molto salato ) , salame toscano molto commerciale . Tagliere di formaggi , su questo niente da dire , nella media ma sicuramente non rispecchia la qualità / prezzo. Purtroppo i due primi che abbiamo preso sono la problematica più grossa: Cacio e pepe decisamente salata , sembrava più una cacio e sale . Capisco che il pecorino romano può essere più o meno sapido ma dovrebbe essere cura dello chef aggiustare la sapidità del piatto. I bottoni alla guancia di maiale su crema di patate , purtroppo avevano un sapore strano, di guance ne ho mangiate nella mia vita ma mai avuto un sapore così . Davvero molto forte. La crema di patate aveva un’aggiunta di limone oltre al fondo della guancia e purtroppo il limone sovrastava tutto il piatto. Come si dice purtroppo o per fortuna riusciva a togliere il retrogusto lasciato dal bottone. Il vino bevuto buono . Mi spiace ma non ritorneremo.

17/02/2024: Personale super gentile e accogliente. Locale molto particolare e arredato con gusto. Piatti uno più buono dell'altro con attenzione anche vegetariano. Decisamente consigliato

05/04/2024: Really good! Small restaurant in the center of Lucca. Chef Gabriele and his wife Giulia welcome customers in a friendly and competent way. Very good dishes with a touch of particularity that are now difficult to find and certainly of quality! We stayed with friends and we will definitely return as soon as possible.

02/04/2024: We ate for lunch on a Sunday, there was only 1 table with 6 people. The food was not of quality and we paid too much!! Desserts €8 each!! I don't recommend it
