31/03/2024: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The family atmosphere made our vacation particularly pleasant. The entire staff was extremely courteous and was always available to help and advise. The food was simply delicious, with a diverse selection of dishes to please every palate. The rooms were beautifully furnished and offered the perfect retreat after an eventful day. The wellness area was simply great, the sauna and the pool invited you to relax.
All in all, an absolutely recommendable hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay! We will come back in any case!

06/04/2024: The quality of the food is great, the ambience is great, the service is great, BUT, somehow everything happens so extremely quickly that you feel like you've been "handled". Drinking a glass of wine comfortably is not possible. Between ordering drinks, serving them, and the food arriving, you don't have time to prepare the salad at the buffet. It's a shame actually.
03/04/2024: Pizzas are light and tasty. Service is quick. Overall it's a good place to get a pizza. Staff is friendly.

14/03/2024: The food was great - best we had all week in South Tyrol. The people were kind and understood multiple languages, but we're a bit pushy with taking your plates while eating and in the end we paid the bill with a card but never actually saw the bill and what was the cost of the things we ate.
12/03/2024: Was recommended to us by a local and boy were we grateful. I got the venison ragout and it was slamming! The apple strudel was phenomenal as well.

27/01/2024: We are very happy that we came across this restaurant. Coming back from Civetta, we decided to have lunch in our beloved Italy and that's where the idea came from. And it turned out that not only were the primi pati really delicious, but at the end the owner told us that his mother-in-law was Alba, who co-invented TIRAMiSU in the 1970s. Of course we ordered and ate it, it was really something. Be sure to come by
17/01/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant and had a wonderful meal. Dishes with quality ingredients, cooked impeccably. The shank and the goulash are absolutely worth trying. But in general everything is delicious. Also their sweet tiramisu. Courtesy and friendliness of the innkeeper Mr. Frank. What can I say, probably the best restaurant in San Candido.

27/12/2023: Nie wieder. Der Service war nicht unfreundlich, sondern kastrastrophal und pampig. Völlig überfordert. Wenn man keine Lust hat mit Menschen zu arbeiten, sollte man es lassen. Hier wird man nur abgefertigt. So eine schöne Hütte und so eine sehr schlechte Bewirtschaftung. Schade.

25/02/2024: Ci siamo fermati per una breve pausa presso questa baita durante una giornata di scii ed è stata una piacevolissima scoperta. I sapori del territorio si ritrovavano all'interno dei piatti proposti dallo chef. Piatti ottimi dall'antipasto al dolce: freschezza, qualità e ricerca ma anche innovazione. Vogliamo sicuramente ritornare per una cena. Consigliatissimo !

But when my wife's rental skis were stolen and she just wanted to ask in the restaurant whether the surveillance cameras belonged to her, the waitresses were very annoyed and extremely unfriendly. That’s also part of it…

02/04/2024: The food was correct, the prices reasonable. Lamb is even better than fish. The staff is extremely pleasant and professional.
The cakes are fantastic.
25/02/2024: Delicious pizza here!! The service was very friendly and listened carefully to our wishes. Unfortunately, the first round of drinks took a little longer, but we certainly didn't have to wait long for our pizzas! All in all, 5 stars!

21/02/2024: ESPERIENZA PESSIMA locale sicuramente da sconsigliare. Abbiamo prenotato per 11 persone, tra cui una ragazza con gamba rotta in carrozzina. Abbiamo prenotato per le 20.30 ma avendo sbagliato strada, siamo arrivati con 15 minuti di ritardo. NON CI HANNO ACCETTATO nonostante tutta la fatica di aver portato la carrozzina dal parcheggio all’ingresso del ristorante che non è per niente agevole, avendo una discesa non indifferente sul ghiaino. La loro scusa è stata che la cucina chiude alle 21 e noi eravamo arrivati in ritardo. Ma se la prenotazione era per le 20.30 come avrebbero fatto a servire 11 persone in 30 minuti? Abbiamo spiegato loro che eravamo in ritardo in quanto il locale è poco indicato con cartelli stradali e anche su Google map era poco chiaro e l’enorme fatica di aver portato mia figlia in carrozzina, ma sono stati irremovibili dicendo che “il cuoco ha famiglia pertanto alle 21 loro chiudono”. NON DOVEVANO ALLORA PRENDERE UNA PRENOTAZIONE PER LE 20.30. Sono stati veramente poco empatici data la situazione. Rinunciare a servire 11 persone per 15 minuti di ritardo è stato veramente poco professionale.
17/12/2023: Abbiamo scelto questo posto attirate dalle recensioni, tuttavia le aspettative sono state disattese. Il personale, pur gentile, è disattento… abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti per ordinare, mentre veniva apparecchiato il tavolo con l’insalata per un ospite dell’hotel non ancora arrivato. A parte ciò, il tagliere di salumi… lascia molto perplessi, classici salumi confezionati da supermercato, nulla a che vedere con l’idea di affettati locali che potrebbe avere un qualunque avventore; del pari il gulash di manzo con canederli e lo spezzatino di cervo non erano affatto buoni, a nostro parere, peraltro annegati in un brodo liquido….
