29/03/2024: It is one of the three dinners organized by Caneva World. Let's start by saying that it is certainly a great experience to have, especially for families with children aged at least 3/4 years up to 10/12 years of age. The event takes place like this: all participants are divided into 4 groups upon signing the entrance ticket. Colored crowns are provided, each color represents a house and has a favorite knight to "cheer on" throughout the dinner. They seat you in the stands around a very large square arena. While they serve the dinner consisting of minestrone (without praise and without infamy) and a roast chicken with potatoes (to be eaten strictly with your hands) and a few pieces of bread to conclude with a hot strudel with ice cream on top. Drinks are included and are unlimited, there is always someone ready to fill your glass with water, wine, cocacola or beer! The dinner itself is not the reason why you will come here, but the show they will put on in the center of the arena is the main attraction: Basically the 4 knights of each house battle in the center of the arena in a simulated joust following the orders of the king who will give his daughter in marriage to the winner of the contest. The show includes several games, many of which take place on horseback! 🏇 Basically, if you have come to Gardaland and Caneva World, dedicate one of the evenings to come and see this gimmick. It's an experience that will leave you with something! P.S. The cheering will be very noisy as you can use the plates and tin cucumbers to make a mess while cheering on your favorite.

23/11/2023: We are a group of 11 people visited Medieval Times Restaurant and Show on October. We have bought tickets for the show online a night before and paid using PayPal. On the night of the show we have arrived to the front desk and presented the tickets we’ve received through e-mail the night before. The lady at the front desk told us that those tickets hasn’t been paid for and that we will have to pay for them – we believe here and figured that something went wrong with the PayPal payment processing. We paid using a credit card and got in to the show. A day after, I have reviewed my credit card report and notice that the two payment has been processed. I have returned to the front desk at the shoe place and asked for a refund for the redundant payment – the lady at the front desk refused and advise me to contact the office. I have contacted the office both through email and phone and they’ve insist to refuse giving me my money back.

04/03/2024: BAD RESTAURANT TO AVOID! Two of us went there for 1:30 p.m. As soon as we were seated, an already quite elderly waiter made us understand by tapping his watch that we had to hurry up and order. For the antipasto (i.e. the starter) we choose salmon for €12, both the same thing. When ordering, this same man speaks Italian to us, sees that we don't understand and doesn't want to try English. We point out to him what we want, sure of ourselves. He sighed several times to make us understand that we were pissing him off for not speaking Italian! Then he asks us to choose a side dish: + €4.50 again! Since when is the accompaniment no longer included with the dish? We refuse, he makes a face and half growls. A cooked salmon comes to us, it seems strange to us. Note: 15€ instead of 12€. We suppose he looked at the menu wrongly and thought we wanted the salmon they offered as a hot dish. So our only meal since he had directly collected the menu: two pieces of salmon. NOTHING ELSE ! Disappointed, we didn’t want to pay them two desserts in addition. The very unpleasant staff stared at us meanly (always that old man) and kicked us out, shoving the bill under our noses when they saw that we were hanging around slightly (it was barely 3 p.m.). We hadn't even finished our glasses of wine even though we had still bought them a bottle. When pointing out the mistake in the dish to this gentleman, he was very irritated and rude, spoke to us very badly, not at all professional, we were annoying him, that's all. He made the salmon for 12€ so I didn't even tell him that they had counted the service twice, I saw that we couldn't get more. In short, the salmon may have been good, it's a complete scam and they are super unpleasant, I RECOMMEND AGAINST. You will always find better!

01/01/2024: Excellent place ... We went with my girlfriend on New Year's Eve ... Enchanting atmosphere with a view of the Castle ... Well-plated and truly delicious food, the prosecco drunk during the evening was also excellent ... Waiters attentive to your needs of the customer who provided an excellent service during dinner ... We had to wait a little due to a malfunction of the ordering tablet but it was really worth it ... Excellent discovery ... Definitely worth trying ... Recommended !!!

07/04/2024: Much better last year when you could order a pizza and then, depending on the evening, there was a pizza round. This year's giropizza is practically unmanageable even with just a few tables, let alone when the place will be fully booked in high season. The waiters are far too good and kind in handling the situation. If you are lucky enough to have a table near the kitchen you can eat pizzas similar to those in the poster, but if the table is further away you will practically only get margherita. Salad and other alternatives to pizza have disappeared from the menu. As a vegetarian, I have to wait 10 minutes between one slice and another so as not to find meat. For those who have problems with mozzarella, they practically don't eat it. It's a shame, the theming of the place is wonderful, but €22 is really too much to eat like this.

07/04/2024: Unfortunately, I strongly advise against a vegetarian, vegan or gluten or dairy intolerant person from eating at Safari Pizza this year, it was a huge disappointment, for €22 at least I must have the possibility to choose my own pizza followed by a possible giropizza. I was sitting three tables away from the kitchen and basically only the first table made the giropizza, I only received pizzas with tomato, margherita, and if it was fine with mushrooms; not to mention the waiting time between one slice and another which also makes you feel hungry. I'm sorry, it was a beautiful place but for this price it's not worth it anymore and they also removed the salads. The poor waiters are busy running back and forth, now that there are still few people, I can imagine the confusion there will be in the middle of summer. In my opinion the wrong choice was made for the type of venue. I don't understand who makes these decisions, certainly someone with little experience in this place both as a worker and as a customer.

03/04/2024: With great expectation we are pure despite all the criticism. Unfortunately we were very disappointed 😞. Hot dogs were cold, burgers were way too greasy and the bacon was hard and dry when asked and there was no answer. Very little choice and almost everything was cold. The salad buffet looked different to us, no dressing, nothing and the fries were unfortunately inedible, which was a shame

02/04/2024: I was there yesterday on Easter Monday and I must say that compared to last year the quality of the food has dropped dramatically, in fact, despite having eaten very little, I'm here at 4 in the morning writing the review because I haven't digested it yet......and there I was there at 6.30pm as soon as it opened and left 45 minutes later......everything was missing, it looked like a joke, the ice cream machine dispensed a whole blue liquid but not ice cream, low carbonated and tasteless drinks and never mind the bathroom in the tub if you raised your head the cobwebs in the corners were the main decoration.....I hope it's only because they have just reopened also because they will really lose a lot of customers

26/09/2023: Locale e piatti senza pretese, mi ha ricordato una mensa aziendale. Menu' con poca scelta e impreciso, non puoi inserire in menú la Carne Sala', che è rigorosamente di manzo, e poi servire carne di maiale! oltretutto precisato solo in lingua tedesca! Altra nota dolente portare la bottiglia del vino già stappata al tavolo...si apre sempre di fronte al cliente! Abbiamo speso poco ma andati via ancora affamati.
