29/03/2024: Always the best sandwiches on the Plateau, especially the one with soppressa and cheese is fantastic. Every time I take a trip to the mountains this place is a fixed stop! Always very kind and fast service.

17/03/2024: Ci abitiamo a un chilometro e non abbiamo mai avuto occasione andarci a cena ma ci siamo decisi a provare e devo dire che siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Gli ingredienti sono davvero ottimamente selezionati si vede che c'è cura nella scelte della qualità dei fornitori. Abbiamo optato per piatti tipici come i gnocchi alle patate rosa e i canderli e poi la tosella! Ingredienti semplici ma ottimi e preparati alla perfezione. Il locale è molto carino e moderno . Abbiamo cenato in verandina che è veramente molto bella! Di sera il panorama purtroppo ovviamente non si vede ma le vetrate meritano! Bella scelta di tagli di carne pregiate che non abbiamo scelto ma ler le quali sicuro abbiamo deciso di tornare! Abbiamo chiuso la cena con la panna cotta alle loro confetture fatte in casa veramente ottime! Perfetto per cena di coppia! Noi ci torneremo!

Gnocchi con grano saraceno (senza glutine) con crema di formaggio e tarassaco e piatto Baitina (specialità della casa). Qualità, competenza e gentilezza! Ci torneremo sicuramente. Bravi.

02/04/2024: Veneto of Vicenza, railway workers' district, but I have traveled all over Italy and also lived in Naples where I ate the best pizza, among these Ciro a mergellina. In Kamparube, Camporovere, at the Locanda La Stella, you can eat the best pizza in the world, as well as the rest. One might say: you write it because you love that country, those woods, those meadows... the proof that you eat like a god is provided by the owner, born in 1924 and still there. They are people who saw their country burned by the Nazis and are still there lucid and strong at one hundred years old. It means that you eat really well!!! I wholeheartedly recommend it to you.

26/03/2024: If from the outside the building doesn't give much confidence (time has left many signs, and the 'hotel' sign - but for decades it has only been a restaurant - represents them all), inside it is an absolute positive surprise. The Al Ghertele restaurant is a place from times gone by, warm and welcoming. Simple menu, obviously typical. The dumplings, both with mushrooms and venison, were spectacular. The ricotta cake with berries, sublime. A half liter flask, a bottle of water and two coffees, for a total of 41 euros for two. We will stop again, there is no doubt about that.
03/03/2024: We stopped for lunch by chance, as we were traveling to Folgaria. Typical cuisine, with tasty and well-prepared dishes. Recommended are the tagliatelle with venison ragout and the venison stew! Prices more than fair. Advised!

26/02/2024: We had booked lunch on THE FORK for Saturday 17 February 2024 at 2pm, to celebrate Valentine's Day, traveling almost 90km there and 90km back to arrive in front of the restaurant at 2pm sharp and find everything closed.
So we call the restaurant to ask for information and we are told that no reservation had arrived, email and number of reservations (us) in hand, asking for explanations and directions on what we should do we are told that they can't do anything and the phone call ends.
Out of frustration and anger, we rightly chat with THE FORK customer support explaining what happened and, right during the chat, a Reservation Cancellation email arrives from the restaurant, which previously said it had never received reservations.
Even more disappointed and incredulous, we ask for help from the assistance which obviously can only console us, and we thank them, offering us 2000 points (20 euros) in the app and promising us that they would take serious action with the owner for the treatment received.
06/01/2024: Abbiamo pernottato in questo hotel durante le vacanze natalizie con formula di mezza pensione.
L'hotel è stato ristrutturato recentemente, eccezion fatta per una sala al piano terra, con gusto e raffinatezza. Spazi molto ampi, la camera era enorme.
Hotel pet friendly, abbiamo trovato tutto il necessario anche per i nostri bimbi piccoli.
Cucina di buon livello, unica pecca utilizzando solo prodotti di stagione c'era poca scelta di verdure per i contorni.
Consiglio assolutamente questo albergo se cercate comodità e servizio top.
Torneremo presto!

31/03/2024: When a family has been carrying on a business for many years, despite the thousand complications and costs that afflict everyone, respect must be shown. If there is also an excellent cook, Mrs. Adriana, who makes delicious gnocchi, even more so. I had them with tomato and I could feel all the quality of the raw materials. But they were also good with ragù. The environment is simple and homely but clean. From the dining room you have a beautiful view of the mountains towards Rotzo. Next time I want to eat delicious gnocchi again I will definitely come back here. Thank you

22/01/2024: Purtroppo la fantastica ed eccezionale Costata non può (e non riesce) a compensare un trattamento della clientela pessimo.
Prologo: si mangia "per turni" quindi ci viene detto che il "primo turno" termina alle 13:30. Ci presentiamo alle 13:45 ma SONO ANCORA TUTTI A TAVOLA o stanno pagando. Ci sediamo che ormai sono le quasi le 14. Ordiniamo per ultimi attorno alle 14:15. Dopo di che per l'antipasto (1 piatto in due di affettato) dobbiamo attendere quasi 30 min. Sono quasi le 15 (14:45) e stiamo ancora aspettando i secondi. Arrivano dopo 30 min circa alle 15:15: ottimi, sulla qualità del cibo non posso dire niente, ma impossibile avere del pane in più, perché i camerieri non si vedono per oltre 15 min. Poi un nostro errore, al ritiro dei piatti non ordiniamo subito i dolci. Altra attesa biblica. Sono le 16. Quasi 2 ore (buttate in attesa) per mangiare 1 secondo e 1 dolce a testa. Alla cassa ci lamentiamo del Servizio. Risposta: "Oggi ne ho mandati via 300 (di possibili clienti), se ti va bene è così, altrimenti...". Spiace ma non ci torno.
07/01/2024: Siamo stati con amici durante le feste di Natale. Ci aspettavamo più scelta soprattutto per quanto riguarda gli antipasti, molto simili tra loro (e prezzo esagerato). Poi, per contorno, abbiamo ordinato 3 porzioni di funghi e ne hanno portato solo una, sostenendo che le tre porzioni erano state messe tutte assieme in un unico piatto piccolino (che sicuramente non bastava per 5 persone). La scelta di portare le tre porzioni in un unico piattino è discutibile, ma è peggio il fatto che non siamo stati avvisati di questa cosa al momento dell'ordine, trovandoci a pagare tanto per una porzione ridotta.
Prezzo esagerato per quello che la cucina offre.
