05/04/2024: Located on the Santa Margherita seafront, the place is quite spacious and serves as both a restaurant and a pizzeria. The service was quick, the waiters were professional and the food was very good (I also tried a pizza and I must say it was fabulous). It has a small outdoor area under the porticoes in front of the structure. Average prices. Highly recommended!

17/03/2024: I ordered Carbonara di gamberi. Perfect to my taste. Amazing flavor. Accompanied by a glass of very good white wine too. Parking nearby.

25/02/2024: I tried this and other local focaccia shops, and in comparison this one had prices that were a little too high for the average quality. The environment is more refined than the classic traditional focacceria you might expect, which you may like or not, the choice was limited, at least at the time we went for lunch, but that may have been a coincidence. The cheese focaccia was certainly the best of those we tried, while the sage focaccia was a bit "poor" compared to the same ones in other bakeries. Overall maybe a little touristy, but still not bad.

19/02/2024: In Santa Margherita Pinamonti has been making focaccia all his life, it's always worth stopping to taste it. There is a queue on holidays, but the service is quite fast

01/04/2024: The Pado Restaurant offers an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, with modern furnishings and a table arrangement that favors an intimate and pleasant experience, very nice when there are tables outside where you can enjoy a wonderful view. The restaurant staff were courteous and attentive to our needs. They were prompt in taking our order and provided helpful recommendations on dishes and drinks. We ordered the main course “Gli Scampi di Mario” and were extremely satisfied. The scampi was fresh and well prepared, with a delicious flavor and attractive presentation. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. Our experience at the Pado Restaurant was extremely positive. From the quality of the food to the impeccable service, everything contributed to making the evening memorable. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high-end dining experience in Santa Margherita Ligure.

For better or for worse we go back in time but the kindness of the owner and the staff is not lacking. Simple dishes but high quality and well prepared raw materials. 12/02/2024: Siamo rimasti incuriositi dal locale con le luci nel cortile e volevamo provare la cucina. Ottima accoglienza e gentilezza da parte del personale, composto tutto da ragazze. Anche la spiegazione dei piatti è stata esauriente. I piatti scelti, di pesce, molto buoni. Un pochini cari nel prezzo i primi piatti.

08/01/2024: Location molto carina e tranquilla, pochi tavoli, arredamento moderno e atmosfera soft, consigliato per un appuntamento romantico. Servizio impeccabile, personale molto cordiale e sempre pronto a riempire il calice di vino. Riguardo al menù, complice la mancanza di vongole, e le mie scelte, non sono rimasto soddisfatto. A causa della mancanza di vongole, mi è stato proposto il solito piatto sostituendole con le cozze, risultato non proprio riuscito a mio gusto, come secondo crudità di pesce, anche quelle non proprio soddisfacenti, la qualità del tonno non mi è piaciuta, mentre le ostriche e gli scampi ottimi. Ho scritto scelte sbagliate perché assaggiando i piatti della persona in mia compagnia era tutto delizioso, ravioli di branzino come primo e purè con calamari di secondo. Conto in linea con quello che si è mangiato, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

17/02/2024: Siamo stati in questa osteria per pranzo qualche settimana fa. Posto tranquillo in una vietta defilata di Santa. Ambiente molto famigliare e cucina locale ottima. I prezzi secondo me non sono però da osteria. Un piatto di trofie 14€ (o giù di lì)

14/10/2023: Serata funghi con menù fisso a 40€ bevande escluse. 1 antipasto (carpaccio con funghi), 1 primo (tortelli pomodo e funghi), 1 secondo (carne e funghi fritti) e dolce. Piatti buoni ma quantità dei piatti veramente scarse, abbiamo dovuto ordinare 4 piatti in più e abbuffarci di pane e grissini, uscendo comunque con un buco nello stomaco e spendendo 65€. Nostre amiche casualmente in un tavolo vicino stessa fame rimasta a fine cena.. È un peccato.. Siete una trattoria, per di più fuori mano e cucinate anche bene: e fateli dei piatti un po' più pieni..! A voi non costa nulla, gli utenti li fate felici e magari tornano. Noi no. Grazie lo stesso, peccato

13/08/2023: Ristorante panoramico sulle alture sopra Santa Margherita. Ottimo l'antipasto degli amici, veramente delizioso il branzino alla griglia con le verdure. Consigliato il vino frizzante della casa.

03/01/2024: We have always heard good things about this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. From the outside it looks like a trattoria, in summer you can enjoy the outdoor patio. We took two different types of meat, cooked well, good flavor, good side dishes. If I can make a note, but that is part of the typical Ligurian welcome, we should treat all customers in the same way, in order to build their loyalty, but instead we notice several differences between renowned pseudo customers and novices like us. 07/12/2023: Excellent dinner, this restaurant was chosen for the meat and in fact it was fantastic, I recommend it to carnivorous lovers... I have been coming to this restaurant for years now and it never disappoints, top quality cuts of meat, excellent wines for all budgets...highly recommended

07/10/2023: Locale ben arredato e servizio impeccabile, a pochi passi dal mare ma riparato dal caos di santa Margherita. Gestione dei tavoli cortese e precisa. I piatti sono pochi 3 per portata (2 di pesce ed 1 di terra)… un po’ pochini. Pescato del giorno: pesce spada mi lascia un po’ perplesso. Ottimo il polipo fritto. Porzioni minimal, ma ben proporzionate ed impiattate. Non a buonissimo mercato. Probabile che ad ottobre il menù sia più ridotto.

25/10/2023: Recommended as a favorite of a hotel staff member, we made reservations and after our first meal here, it was a favorite of ours also. Great Location with both inside and outside eating. Super service . . . we were remembered after on one previous visit. In a city filled with tourists and restaurants catering to them, we found this to be a lovely place to feel like we were really in Italy. Super service, fair pricing and excellent food. We obviously went back. Wine list is a good reflection of Italy (we recommend the Piemonte section) and priced well below hotel dining prices. Vitello tonnato is a great antipasti choice. The sea-bream was obviously fresh. It was done and served just right.

26/12/2023: It is a place where you can find the classic Ligurian focaccia and many other types of pizzas, with friendly staff who always assist customers in choosing their pizza. To return.

24/09/2023: Classic example of inability to manage tourism and also one's own work... Sunday in mid-September, sunny, full of people, customers queuing but these geniuses no longer bake focaccia at 12.30 because they close at 1.30.. .. This is why some people speak badly of the Ligurians.... because sometimes they are right....
