02/12/2023: Il locale si presenta molto carino con la reception all’ingresso al centro della sala con un minimo di pretesa di ristorante fashin, l’accoglienza è altezza delle pretese del ristorante, tuttavia i tavoli sono piccoli e senza tovaglia modello mensa, il cameriere gentile ci porta il menù ma senza carta dei vini. Il menù è interessante , pochi piatti, immagino fatti espressi, con piatti di terra e mare; ordiniamo un antipasto, un primo, tamarin al tartufo bianco ed un secondo di coniglio stufato con cavolo nero accompagnati con due calici di vino rosso.
L’antipasto è decisamente anonimo mentre il primo ed il secondo sono ottimi anche se scarsi come porzioni.
Al momento di pagare il conto è di 90 euro per un antipasto, un primo, un secondo, due calici di vino, acqua e un caffè. Rispetto a quanto spendo normalmente, sono spesso fuori per lavoro con clienti, a parità di menù e locale mi sembra decisamente caro.

24/08/2023: The Aperol spritz was good. We were looking forward to a "side dish", but unfortunately there were only chips. The service was friendly and the prices were absolutely right. Everything is clean and nicely decorated inside and out.

06/04/2024: Very disappointed with our experience at this establishment! Everything started well. A good welcome, fast service, dishes as expected...but the time comes to pay and then our bill does not correspond to what we consumed?! a dish is charged in addition (24€!) We request the correction of the bill. The Granny who runs the cash register poses no problem and apologizes while stammering in her native language..but we (the tourists) leave with a big doubt!!!
31/03/2024: It is located in the center of Levanto. It's a very large place, you wouldn't think so from the outside but there are many seats inside. It is elegant and I noticed that the waiters serve the pasta and risotto at the table. They also make typical foods such as "gattafin" (fried ravioli stuffed with herbs)

27/09/2023: Fin utsikt og hyggelig personale, men dessverre helt ekstremt overpriset. At denne restauranten er anbefalt av Michelin er helt uforståelig. Vi betalte 24€ for en Capresesalat som var så enkel at man kunne laget hjemme for 5€. Kaninkjøttet var tørt og sausen til kjøttet var kald og ikke særlig komplementerende, og vinen til maten kom alt for sent. Desserten var en Semifreddo som var knallhard og så isete at vi kunne kjenne iskornene da vi spiste. Dessverre helt ekstremt skuffende opplevelse, og veldig dyrt.

In the order of ranking
1. The location and view- its a bit of drive through windy and narrow road up and down the hills for us, but the view was worth it. We came for aperitif at sunset and it was beautiful.
2. Food — amazing. We have the discovery menu with 5 courses. The anchovies/sardines were the best I had. The rabbit was delicious. And the salty olive oil ice-cream with pine nuts was amazing and creative.
3. Drinks - almost every wine is available by glass and the cocktails menu has an innovative selection.
It’s off the beaten path and worth the trip.

"LA PICEA 2.0" Take Away

31/03/2024: Since the actual Picea is constantly overcrowded, the pizzas here are only available for take-away or delivery: The master, of course, works over at the restaurant, so the recipes are just baked here, so to speak. The ambience doesn't even correspond to a train station lobby, the staff is unable to operate their own cash register system, asks you for your first name (like at Starbucks) and then only calls out the pizza names.
17/01/2024: Fully closed. Is it seasonal? Went back two times in two days and still closed when it says Open on Google.

28/02/2024: Classic aperitif, I had a very good red from the area. When I asked for additional chips they were brought without any problems. The room is spacious but not large, it's a shame that the temperature didn't allow for an outdoor bee.

04/02/2024: We ate a gluten-free pizza whose dough was quite good but both underneath and the aubergines on top were burnt. The sliced beef was practically raw, only a small external part was cooked, and therefore it was difficult to chew. It's a shame because the place is beautiful, spacious, large rooms.

30/03/2024: Our first night in Levanto on our 3 week Italian road trip and the food was incredible!
I ordered the octopus and potatoes; my wife ordered the pesto pasta and we were both very happy!
The service was great as we got there when it opened and the female waiting staff were very hospitable.
It would have been nicer to have a busier restaurant to eat at but I think we got out for dinner too early.
Highly recommend to eat at with a lovely ambiance 🎶

19/02/2024: Every time I go to Levanto I always stop to eat the focaccia in this bakery, I usually get the cheese one which I have never compared to that of another bakery there in Levanto... but from some negative reviews I read, they encourage me to try on the other hand, to make a comparison, the environment is nice, I always stopped at the entrance where the people who come in stop at the counter for purchases, they have a lot to do, perhaps limit the tables, because eating with people crowded together is not the best , due to their kindness they have never been rude, but cold and unfriendly, but I think it is the character of the Ligurians, the lady who turns the tables I think is the owner seems very attentive and the place seems clean to me.

We spent a nice summer evening.
