26/03/2024: This review is for the restaurant. We had a great lunch there last week. The view was impeccable. The indoor dinning room was tastefully decorated. Food was very well prepared and presented. Good wine list to choose from. It has its own parking area. Highly recommended.

Abbiamo potuto apprezzare la qualità dei prodotti utilizzati ma purtroppo i piatti ordinati sono risultati solo appariscenti alla vista nel tentativo, peraltro mal riuscito, di solleticare le papille gustative. Servizio ed apparecchiatura dozzinale, conto decisamente esagerato.

22/03/2024: A restaurant with delicious food, especially pizza and pasta with sea food. For years, every time we come to Milan, we eat there. Mr. Ayman, the owner of the restaurant, and his family are very kind. The menu includes a variety of foods and many choices. I remember we asked him one time about the quality of basil that is served. He brought us a pot containing a fresh basil plant and said: This is my favorite type of basil to eat. 16/03/2024: A dinner with friends in this small but perfect location! The kind and impeccable staff, I found the guy who followed us from start to finish to be very knowledgeable on every topic, both culinary and oenological. The quality of the dishes was excellent, we will definitely be back!

17/05/2024: We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the amazing views overlooking the lake. The room was lovely but the lake view terrace was fabulous. Even in the rain! When the sun was out it was stunning but sadly one day we had lots of rain but it was spectacular to watch from the covered terrace area reading a book with a blanket! The hotel is situated high up on the side of the lake with far reaching views and the sounds of the birds including a cuckoo was lovely. There are garden rooms and whilst the garden rooms are just as nice (and the gardens are gorgeous in their own right) the views can then only be seen at breakfast or from the terrace. Supper is served in a different room overlooking the gardens. We had breakfast and supper here (half board) and it was excellent selection and quality. The staff are very friendly and we really appreciated all their help with ensuring we had a wonderful stay. We will return!

10/05/2024: Per il nostro matrimonio volevamo una splendida location e I Due Roccoli è una delle più belle che abbiamo visto, il panorama sul lago d’Iseo è mozzafiato. Scoprire poi che oltre a ciò c’è molto, ma molto di più è stato meraviglioso. L’attenzione ai particolari, i consigli forniti per la perfetta riuscita dell’evento, i piatti serviti con cura e cucinati perfettamente, la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale sono cose che si, ci si aspetta, ma non con questa attenzione. Sembrava che il nostro matrimonio non fosse uno dei tanti ma quello di un loro amico e che già dal primo incontro tutti si prodigassero perché nulla fosse lasciato al caso e tutto fosse preparato alla perfezione. Sentirsi poi dire dagli invitati che raramente hanno mangiato e bevuto così bene ad un matrimonio è stata una nostra soddisfazione che riporto interamente allo staff de I Due Roccoli.

30/03/2024: The location is beautiful. Service a little poor. Appetizer and eatable. The risotto was not cooked. Fish soup had a strange taste of old fish. The fish broth had a strange smell. The waiter saw that we hadn't eaten the soup and didn't even ask why, just saying I'm sorry. A slightly exaggerated price for the dishes we ate.

07/05/2024: An experience I highly recommend. Just this evening, I discovered the tavern thanks to the reservation made for about fifty high school students who we were accompanying on a trip. It's very rare to find a place nowadays that is ready to welcome a crew of teenagers and with a smile on their faces! We were offered very fast but excellent quality service in a refined environment: pasta with an exceptional ragù (and I say this from Romagna), delicious chicken cutlet and oven-roasted potatoes. Separate menu for celiacs, and we teachers were treated with all possible attention by the dining room staff, including wine. We were pleasantly surprised and can only recommend it.

25/03/2024: A small pearl in Drezzo. From the welcome to the care of the dishes to the selection of wines, Rosso di sera is a place that surprises you. Dennis, the owner, is an extremely competent and passionate person who knows how to understand the customer's needs and guide the staff so that they feel pampered. The location is also suitable for small formal events as it has small isolated rooms. The cuisine is refined in both presentation and taste, not predictable and delicious, nothing is left to chance. Undoubtedly a place to return to many times.

09/03/2024: We had dinner at Chic'n Quick choosing the tasting menu proposal, adding a supplement to have the wine paired with each course chosen by the sommelier. Nothing to say about the dishes, beautiful and delicious, a true taste experience that will always be remembered. But the service was mind-blowing, and in a place where 4 people spend €400 it is UNACCEPTABLE. We choose the menu with the """wines selected by the sommelier""" to live a complete experience, to have someone who can recommend a wine that allows you to enjoy a dish even more. A rosé is offered with the starter, for the first and second courses the choice is left up to us, since of the wines offered it makes no difference which one to drink. But in what sense? If I had wanted to take some glasses independently I would have done so directly from the wine list with a wider margin of choice. And then we are made an unpleasant and decidedly embarrassing comment for those who have to pay for dinner: we are told that we should have avoided paying the supplement for the wine chosen by the sommelier but bought a bottle that we could have saved! Thanks for letting us know, we weren't quite there!!! Good wine in the end, absolutely, 3 people chose a red, a diner the white. But I repeat, we chose it, also because the sommelier wasn't even seen. The dishes were as good as they were poorly served. Having left the dish at the table, one could say "adios" to the waiter, who didn't even bother to explain the composition of the dish again. For every course we had to pick up the phone to find the tasting menu online and remember all the sauces and combinations designed by the chef. We always had to ask for water even though we were at less than 15 tables... how is it possible that not even once was it served to us again independently once it was finished? And I don't even want to discuss the fact that there were staff who didn't speak Italian because I personally feel sorry for the person in difficulty but it should at least be pointed out. But is it possible to have such unpleasant service in a starred chef's bistro? I repeat, if we had been for lunch at the restaurant on the main road, fixed menu 20 euros, no one would ever have complained. Bistrot does not mean tavern. With this service you have ruined an experience as well as a special occasion that deserved to be celebrated.

03/03/2024: An environment that has very little that is chic and a service that has very little that is quick. Upon arrival our table was not ready despite the reservation, but preparing it only required moving glasses and cutlery from another free table. After sitting down we waited at least 10 minutes for them to bring us the menus (on paper) and the list of wines and beers (on tablet). The only craft beer on the list was unfortunately not available. After taking our orders we were brought an entree consisting of a cream puff filled with tuna (not a typo) and a mini spritz. The first orders then arrived (now within an hour of our arrival at the restaurant). The raw fish was very good, the orecchiette were decidedly too al dente and the pepper risotto was good, even if there was a herb not listed on the menu. Among the second courses, the low cutlet is very good (less so the high cutlet) and the Luciana-style octopus is good. Among the good desserts, the chestnut semifreddo and the tiramisu in grains (even if it had very little tiramisu), the bitter chocolate soufflé with pistachio cream was disappointing: the pistachio cream was a small green lake, not creamy at all and the soufflé was dry and a bit bland. We were then offered a small glass containing a piece of Colomba dipped in custard. The Bomba Carta bitters were good, which we asked for when we saw them displayed but which were not offered to us (when we asked for a bitters we were offered the usual suspects). Environment with slightly dated furnishings and without a common thread. Service a little slow but above all polemical and pedantic from one of the waiters. Prices perhaps slightly above average.
