31/05/2024: Fabulous beach club with full restaurant, showers & changing room, beach umbrellas & chairs, beach food & drink service, soft sand and an absolutely beautiful cove. Easy to get to from the Taormina gondola. Good prices too!

08/05/2024: They didn't bring us any menus so we had no idea of ​​all the dishes available or the prices. We had swordfish and a side salad. Salad brought to the table already seasoned with salt and oil had a strong odor reminiscent of a rancid smell and the fish was undercooked. The price also seemed excessive for the type of place. I don't think we will return

14/05/2024: We had a great tasting meal, pizza, anti pasto salads and bruschetta. Taste was excellent, plenty for the 3 of us. Beer was cold and service friendly. Would go again, but leaving Taormina tomorrow

15/09/2023: On mange bien… mais que le service est long !!!! Arrivés à 19h15… on nous dit qu’il faut attendre une dizaine de minutes pour que la cuisine ouvre… notre plat nous a été servi à 20h40 !!!!!! Deux tables arrivées avant nous ont été servies bien avant nous ! Dommage !

26/03/2024: Perfectly crafted cannoli. The staff doesn't speak English, but we managed to communicate without any problems.

10/03/2024: Having ended up in Messina for family reasons, I wanted to get some cannoli with a pignolata to take back to Rome. The quality of the products is excellent. The flavor of the ricotta in the cannoli was delicate and very fresh. I ate both on site and takeaway. Applause goes to the honesty of the owner who, in order to sell me the cannoli to take back to Rome, invited me to buy a cooler bag otherwise the product would have gone bad during the trip. I followed his advice and today we ate the fresh cannoli at home as if we were on site. I discovered a new pastry shop in Messina and I will return there the next time I'm in town. I recommend anyone who is local or passing through to buy and eat the artisanal desserts from this pastry shop. Best regards to the owner and I thank her again for her professionalism and sincerity.

27/09/2023: L'an dernier, nous y avions très bien dîné, à deux reprises. Nous y sommes donc retournés avec une attente très positive mais, cette année, la déception était au rendez-vous : rythme lent (beaucoup d'attente entre les antipasti et les primi) mais, surtout, nourriture sans grâce, incapable de s'adapter à de fortes chaleurs (par ces températures africaines, les fritures n'étaient pas les bienvenues) ; les pâtes, à la lavande et à la zucchina, étaient servies dans une sauce lourde et beaucoup trop poivrée, du coup, on ne sentait que le goût du poivre ; la brochette d'alilunga fut une autre déception : le goût de la marinade aux agrumes était masqué par une panure qui venait alourdir le plat, lui ôtant toute finesse. Comment expliquer, avec la même jeune chef, la même famille qui tient ce restaurant, la satisfaction l'an dernier et la déception cette année ? Certes, il peut y avoir des jours sans, où un assaisonnement est moins réussi, où une cuisson est trop poussée, cela peut arriver à tout le monde ; certes, le dîner était servi sur la terrasse en contrebas, ce qui complique le service et le ralentit, mais le plus inquiétant est le côté routinier de cette cuisine, qui, d'une année sur l'autre, décline la même formule sans beaucoup d'adaptations. En revanche, les prix sont restés raisonnables.

19/10/2023: Il locale ci è stato consigliato da amici del posto e ne siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, tanto da ritornarci una seconda sera. Ottimi piatti e materie prime. Prezzi in linea con gli altri locali dell'isola.

13/10/2023: Sono stata a cena in questo posto da favola. Un insieme di cose perfette tra le portate di pesce freschissimo per viziare al massimo il palato e il posto magico dove si respirava l’area di storia romantica dal 1968… Ho ascoltato a bocca aperta la storia di generazioni che seguono questo posto, e si percepiva un qualcosa di emozionante… accostamento tra il pesce e verdure, salse e spezie, vino e amore per la cucina! Consiglio a 100%! Tornerò molto volentieri appena sarò di nuovo sull’isola 🙂
