18/10/2023: Starting from the assumption that in my opinion one should show up at a venue with no expectations, I had a great time at the Baracca. And I say that I had a very good time before saying that I ate well, only for the fact that I have experienced on myself the importance of feeling well overall compared to just eating well. Pippone premise aside, let's get to the point: We had lunch outside On the beautiful terrace overlooking the surrounding hills of Monfumo: very good starter of fresh cold cuts, the taste was reminiscent of authentic and non-industrial flavours. I was with friends and we ordered a couple of ribs as well as a mixed fish dish. The tender meat of indigenous origin (Bassano del grappa) was cooked to perfection. We settled for the house wine, I think it was a Cabernet but I don't remember if Franc or Sauvignon. The aftertaste was sweet so I'm more inclined to think it was Sauvignon. The customers were younger than us, the communication language of the managers in all its aspects is oriented towards that target, but we older people didn't look out of place nor did we find ourselves out of place. However, I noticed some excellent quality labels in the Pantry inside the restaurant. Adequate bill €40 each including a round of coffee and half a dessert each, to take the average between those who ordered it and those who didn't. 07/02/2024: Conoscevo il ristorante "ante Covid", ho sempre mangiato discretamente. Questa volta era una scelta quasi obbligata perché era di lunedì (in zona era uno dei pochi aperti) e serviva essere nei pressi dell'autostrada. Ci hanno invitato a scegliere tra un menù di carne e uno di pesce. Disgraziatamente abbiamo scelto pesce. La frittura era un misto di pesce congelato e pesce che una volta era stato fresco. Le alici erano immangiabili, gli scampi anche, si salvava il congelato (il solito calamaro-gomma, e gamberetti da aperitivo), almeno mangiabile. C'erano poi delle verdure intrise d'olio. Dopo la frittura avevamo optato per il pesce ai ferri, C'era forse una pescatrice, con una carne soda e ben cotta e poi ancora crostacei pessimi. Eppure c'era la sala piena, insomma immagino un certo giro di affari. Che senso ha proporre pesce se non si è in grado di portare un piatto dignitoso in tavola?

08/01/2024: Locale molto curato e accogliente. Eravamo gia stati qualche anno fa e siamo tornati per una cena speciale. Piatti favolosi in tutti i sensi, servizio impeccabile e sapori che risvegliano i sensi. Ampissima carta dei vini. Rapporto qualità prezzo giusto Torneremo sicuramente.

02/12/2023: Solo un accenno al la posizione, invidiabile, con un panorama mozzafiato sui vitigni di Prosecco. Cucina elegante, con accostamento di sapori non banale. Tutte le proposte sono intriganti, dagli antipasti ai primi, dai secondi per finire con i desserts . Grande attenzione alla clientela, ottimi amuse-bouche sia di entrata che di uscita. Più che buona la proposta enologica. Personale molto solerte e professionale, quasi impeccabile. Conto corretta in rapporto all’elevata qualità a 360 gradi. Bene, bravi, per il bis ci si vede in primavera…

23/03/2024: Typical Treviso tavern in the historic center, near the Buranelli. Delicious, simple and genuine food, very kind staff. Possibility of doing various tastings. I particularly recommend the crostini with creamed cod, artichokes and purée.

11/05/2024: Probably the most crowded place in Treviso. It's a bit of a factory with a lot of throughput, but the food is very good (we ate pasta). Competent and efficient service, moderate prices for such a location. Lots of tables outside - on Piazza Dei Signiori. Overall a plus.
