Pippone premise aside, let's get to the point: We had lunch outside On the beautiful terrace overlooking the surrounding hills of Monfumo: very good starter of fresh cold cuts, the taste was reminiscent of authentic and non-industrial flavours. I was with friends and we ordered a couple of ribs as well as a mixed fish dish. The tender meat of indigenous origin (Bassano del grappa) was cooked to perfection. We settled for the house wine, I think it was a Cabernet but I don't remember if Franc or Sauvignon. The aftertaste was sweet so I'm more inclined to think it was Sauvignon. The customers were younger than us, the communication language of the managers in all its aspects is oriented towards that target, but we older people didn't look out of place nor did we find ourselves out of place.
