02/04/2024: We have frequented this post for almost 20 years and the quality and cordiality remain intact. It is difficult to resist the temptations to try their selection (tasting) of "primi", although the menu has much more to offer. Leonardo and his family are excellent hosts.

01/04/2024: I must say that he has always been known for his excellent first courses for years, unfortunately that evening he failed.... but it can happen.... so... we will give him another chance because he deserves it....

13/03/2024: Nella splendida Verona, un ristorante situato a fianco dell'omonimo Teatro. Tavoli distanziati, bella apparecchiatura con comodi portaposate, ambiente di sobria eleganza. Menù non vastissimo ma accattivante, con portate non banali, curate e ben presentate. Ho assaggiato diversi piatti, tutti molto equilibrati e con grande cura delle materie prime. Ottimi il lesso, la guancia (che si scioglieva in bocca) ed il coniglio in tecia. Lista dei vini ampia, unico neo forse ricarichi un tantino alti. Comunque nel complesso rapporto qualità-prezzo buono, del resto la qualità si paga. Servizio attento e discreto. Sono veramente stupito che il locale non fosse pieno, ma egoisticamente meglio così visto che non avevamo prenotato. Se torno a Verona una visita qui sarà d'obbligo

10/03/2024: I ate in this restaurant on a Saturday evening with my girlfriend, given that we were passing through and without a reservation, two very kind and friendly guys welcomed us, they accommodated us immediately and from there we asked for the menu, it presents an excellent choice from starter up to dessert, the dishes I tried were exquisite, the service from the guys was really classy and very professional and the bill was in line with what we ordered, I tasted 2 types of wine, requested on the guy's recommendation and very skilfully was able to advise me despite my difficult taste in wines, I am fully satisfied and I am sure that I will return when I return to this wonderful city, I would also add that the place is very elegant but not pretentious... I highly recommend it, thanks again for the magnificent evening. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended

03/10/2023: Many restaurants in central Verona are an insult to Italian cuisine, as the old city has become overwhelmed with tourists. This one, just about 200m the ‘wrong side’ of p. dei signori, is an exception. The food was outstanding, service impeccable. Not cheap but better value than many. We went a second time a couple of days after our first visit, and were not disappointed. The menu is less extensive than some (no fish of any kind when we went, for example, and a choice of only about 8 or 10 for each of primo and secondi) but all was extremely good. Outside seating is in a very attractive and reasonably private small square

31/03/2024: Staff at the top despite a mix-up on the booking they solved the problem in an instant, and there were 8 of us. Excellent food, praise to our waitress who handled the mess we made for the boss, very nice and nice

31/03/2024: The bathroom door was attached to our table. The continuous entry and exit of users seasoned the dinner. We asked to be moved, but no response. In addition brooms, vacuum cleaners, cables and pillows around us. Bad acoustics

07/04/2024: Wonderful family-run trattoria, excellent food with lots of courtesy, smiles and simplicity, without too many frills and everything homemade. An experience worth trying. Among the dishes to recommend, the soft polenta with mixed mushrooms is missing, so I mention it here, very good!

06/04/2024: Typical and welcoming Veronese trattoria where you can find traditional dishes. Amarone risotto, boiled meats, various types of meat... the kindness of the staff in their welcome and service makes everything more pleasant. The desserts are also very good.

19/03/2024: Excellent quality pizza by the slice, various flavors to choose from even in the evening hours close to closing. The owners were very nice and welcoming!

08/03/2024: Vivo a Verona da più di otto anni e la pizza di Zio Lele è un must. Pizza unica, con impasto fragrante e leggero, ingredienti di ottima qualità, abbinamenti da urlo. Da non perdere neanche i panettoni artigianali e le colombe. E poi Lele è un grande, insieme alla pizza c'è sempre tempo per una chiacchierata in amicizia. Da visitare. Ancora, ancora e ancora!

27/03/2024: We loved the food, atmosphere and service. We ordered a mixed prosciutto and mortadella plate as a starter, with a very easy drinking wine offered by the waiter. As the main course, we chose Amareno risotto and Gnocchi with horse meat. We ended the evening with a delicious parfait. All recommended. Don't forget to book your table!

23/03/2024: Highly recommended historic trattoria where you can eat well and have traditional dishes. A high quality wine list. Informal but refined environment. Prices are not cheap, but absolutely fair for the excellent quality, the very pleasant service and the very central location in Verona.

07/04/2024: The food was very good, only the bread was not very fresh, the staff was very kind. The price is normal, even if I don't really like eating on paper and the QR code menu doesn't work very well, the site should have been designed better. Furthermore, if the restaurant does not have separate accounts, this should be made explicit and clear from the beginning.

06/04/2024: Excellent dinner in this vegan restaurant, very close to the center of Verona. Very kind staff. Nice environment, but with some little attention to detail. The menu offers simple, almost 'homemade' dishes, largely coming from tradition and 'revisited' in a vegan key. It could be expanded towards more elaborate foods. The plating definitely needs to be improved, as it doesn't do justice to the quality of the food. The cost is slightly high compared to the dishes served.

03/04/2024: We came here for lunch during a day trip to Verona and were beyond pleased with the food (absolutely amazing, probably the best we've had in Italy so far), the staff (so friendly, helpful, and just lovely all around), and the ambiance (quiet but fun and easygoing). Staff is bilingual (great for us since our Italian is not great) and, again, the food is unbelievable. Thank you for a great meal and memories! ❤️

05/04/2024: Good service and good food but it is very expensive for the amount of food they give. We only had the option of choosing a special menu that was available for Easter, you couldn't choose from a menu. And the minimum to pay per person was 40 euros plus drinks, cutlery and bread, which they charged for everything separately. It is a very elegant, special place that makes more elaborate food, but we do not recommend it if what you want is to eat a good quantity at an affordable price.
