07/04/2024: Enchanting experience for a restaurant of the highest level

23/03/2024: Where do I start? Stefano (one of the four brothers who look after this restaurant as the fourth generation of this family restaurant) picked us up as part of the shuttle service that they offer to customers (to and from Amalfi) as the restaurant is located just a bit further away from central Amalfi. He gave us an introduction and background into the family run business and use of their farm produce. We were then welcomed by Antonio (another brother) who served us throughout the evening and gave us a tour of the restaurant and showed us the terrace. We ordered the Ciccio Tasting Menu and it was absolutely amazing. They are generous with portions and they also give bread on the side (complimentary). Antonio explains every dish clearly and is the most passionate person I've met when it comes to food. Ask him any question about the ingredients and the way its been prepped and he will tell you all the work that goes into it. It was their first day of opening so wasn't too busy but it was a very nice place to have a lovely meal to celebrate an anniversary. They then dropped us off back at our hotel in Amalfi and it was an absolute amazing dinner and evening. Compliments to the chefs and team who made the whole journey from start to finish such high quality. All the best for the new season!

13/05/2024: An unexpected place in the heart of Naples. Monica's "moody" cuisine won me over with its originality and creativity. A fascinating place, where the East meets Neapolitan tradition (where can you find sushi with "burnt" cherry tomatoes à la Eduardo De Filippo?) and art warms up unexpected underground rooms. Not to be missed!

08/05/2024: Excellent fusion sushi rolls. The restaurant is very beautiful, calm and well decorated. The sushi rolls were well presented and so tasty that we didn’t event need to add soya sauce. One of the best that we ever had. The rolls are freshly prepared infront of us. The cocktails were very nice too. We enjoyed also a quick paint exposition downstairs on our way to the restroom. I highly recommend if you like Japanese food, you will not be disappointed but honored.

09/05/2024: My husband and I spent 10 days in Italy, and this was, without a doubt, the best meal we had on our trip! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was phenomenal. They even provided a shuttle to and from the restaurant since we were staying on the far end of Positano. Definitely make this a stop if you’re in the area!

04/05/2024: Fabulous feast worth the detour and for everyone who wants to experience a real “plate upgrade” vs the typical, Amalfi harbor tourist joint. Sit close to the open kitchen to watch the maestro of the pasta station do his magic - organized, calm, impressively effortless.

13/05/2024: Siamo capitati in questo locale per caso...ma Luigi ha saputo fare il padrone di casa in modo eccellente...Ci ha consigliato un vino eccellente...gli antipasti favolosi ed i crudi spettacolari (ostrica di acqua salata sublime)...sul primo siamo rimasti estasiati... Grazie per questa bellissima esperienza ci torneremo...

06/04/2024: Palazzo Murat was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. The service was impeccable. They upgraded us upon arrival to a room overlooking the water and hills of Positano and gifted us a complimentary bottle of champagne to kick off our stay. The concierge was so helpful and anytime we had a question or needed anything they helped us immediately. They helped us set up our sunset boat cruise and gave us information that helped us hike the path of gods. The breakfast was incredible it was such a lovely way to start our day each day. We were able to enjoy a day by the pool which had a beautiful view and was very relaxing. We enjoyed apritivo at La petit Murat on a couple of occasions. We also ate dinner at their Al Palazzo restaurant our last night and had a nice relaxing evening the food and service was also wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect as it gives you quick walking access to the water/ferries and access to the shops and other restaurants. I would 100% recommend staying at this hotel. The staff are kind and friendly and go above and beyond. Thank you to everyone there who made our stay a 5 star experience!

05/02/2024: Hotel Palazzo Murat wonderful location between descents and climbs in Positano...atmosphere where time stops to enjoy and taste food for the body and emotions for the heart❤️..sublime place...to...be there at least once in life.....ubi Maior minor cessat❤️ Highly recommended

04/04/2024: Large rooms, wonderful view, great breakfast. There is a bus that transports guests from the hotel to the center.

23/03/2024: We stayed here end of Sept 2023 and were very happy with it. The room was clean and tidy, with a beautiful view over the water. Here were fireworks at the bay one evening that we watched from our balcony. Breakfast was great, lots of options and everything we had was delicious. The staff was all very pleasant and extremely helpful. My son accidentally knocked my engagement ring down the sink in the bathroom while I was washing my face, and the manager told us not to worry, go about our day and he'd have it at the front desk for us when we got back. As soon as we walked in the door, he handed it to me in a little bag. He was also very nice to try to help us with trying to get to our ferry on time when I made a mistake on the shuttle times. The only "issue" (if you can even call it that) is that you do need a car or the shuttle to get back and forth, as it's up in the hills, but we knew that before we went, so not a problem for us. Have recommended to some family friends going to Sorrento this year!

01/04/2024: For those who want a lunch by the sea it is the ideal place. The staff is very kind, smiling and welcoming. You feel pampered from arrival until the last course. To start, not to be missed is the seafood appetizer with seafood mojito, one of their delicacies. The first courses are all good and you are truly spoiled for choice, the pacchero with tomato, capers and tuna is certainly very original and tasty. Make sure you leave room for dessert, they have some desserts in jars that are delicious.

08/05/2024: Extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered spaghetti with seafood, and it was very salty, I couldn't eat it. I had the leftover from my daughter's dish, and it did not taste good either. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this place. The waitress did not look happy serving us either.

25/04/2024: An absolute MUST in Sorrento, even if you haven’t heard of Caruso -I doubt there is a a single soul who hasn’t!- the risotto is godly, the best risotto I have ever had -ever!
