30/04/2024: Family restaurant with a small play corner for little ones. We ate our fill with generous portions but the food is from a trattoria not a restaurant so you shouldn't expect refinements. I recommend the fish soup.

09/04/2024: Food was ok for our two hungry kids but we didn't enjoy it. The food was all frozen and didn't taste fresh. The kids corner was cool, but all in all I wouldn't recommend it. I wonder if the experience was bad because we where there off-season?

12/05/2024: The worst customer service I've had in my life Run away !! This deserves a complaint to the tourism department We waited to be placed, there were 5 of us and the only ones waiting Lots of free tables so no crowds The waiter (a young man) passes 3 or 4 crazy people in front of us, total indifference, neither hello nor wait nor even a glance Afterwards another group of Italians arrives and stands behind us in line. After 10 minutes the waiter arrives and seats the group that was behind us There were 5 of them too! Totally disrespectful and unacceptable When I told the waiter he simply told me that he didn't know who was before even though we were clearly in front Bad faith on top of that Well we were a group or not too many blondes It may have played a role Lamentable!!

31/03/2024: We ate there 2 evenings in a row and it gives a mixed review. On the menu, very good dishes the first evening. The second evening, disappointed by the pizzas. Otherwise, a good welcome and a pleasant setting.

27/03/2024: Really bad experience! Cutlery wasn’t properly cleaned and our ‘’ waitress’’ was rude and arrogant. We asked her to remove the price of a dish as we found a hair in it, she answered that it was probably ours. They did remove the dish from our bill but the way they treated us throughout the whole time was unacceptable.

16/03/2024: Dopo 2 anni sempre con la voglia di tornare oggi ho avuto il piacere finalmente di riassaporare la cucina di Redatca. Ottimo antipasto con polpette di baccalà alici in saor crostino di pane burro e acciuga ottimo il polpo e una grigliata di scampi e gamberi speciale. Assaggio di primi e stoccafisso. Tutto ottimo. prezzi giusti. Servizio curato. Tornerò ma spero di nn far passare di nuovo 2 anni

16/02/2024: Ci siamo recati in questo locale in compagnia di una coppia di amici per la festa di San Valentino. Il locale si presenta bene, ben arredato ma a causa di una struttura su più piani le salette risultano essere piccole creando non troppa privacy tra i commensali. Mise en place curata, il menù contiene portate sia di mare che di terra ed è ricco di pietanze che richiamano le tradizioni locali presentate in chiave moderna. Abbiamo cenato ordinando una tartare di tonno e crostini di acciughe come antipasto di mare, deliziosi!!!! Una tartare di fassona come antipasto di terra, delicatissima. Due secondi della tradizione, un baccalà alla griglia con purea di ceci, ed una frittura di pesce molto fresca per niente una unta. Completa anche la carta dei vini che riporta molti dei vini locali, la nostra scelta è ricaduta su un vermentino, tantissime altre le cantine presenti un po’ da tutta Italia. Due dolci per finire e conto nella norma 125€, tenuto conto del prezzo della bottiglia (25€) reputiamo il conto in linea con con i prezzi degli altri locali della zona. Personale molto professionale e preparato, unica nota negativa i tempi di attesa leggermente lunghi tra una portata e l’altra.

07/01/2024: We had an amazing lunch, we arrived just before 2pm and they normally close at 2pm but they were happy to let us in. As it is winter we sat inside, lovely atmosphere, cosy and lovely decorated. We ordered a starter and a main, pasta, mussels and pizza. All the dishes were amazing, beautiful presented and tasted great. The people were very friendly and even gave our kids a little present for the tradition La Brefana. We highly recommend this restaurant, it was one of the best ones we ate during our Italy trip.

11/10/2023: Domenica passata a Monterosso, abitiamo a due passi Versilia) e veniamo quasi ogni anno in questo periodo per passare una giornata in relax e così sismo capitati per caso in questo ristorante perché principalmente aveva dei posti liberi e noi non avevamo prenotato da nessuna parte.(anche perché ogni anno quando andiamo si va alla ricerca di posti nuovi).Ristorante senza lode ne infamia, cibo nella media, i prezzi un po' cari ma come nella media di questo posto .. personale non scortese ma forse stanco della stagione, parecchio frettoloso e approssimativo ( non mi soffermo su due episodi accaduti proprio a noi perché può capitare a tutti ma è il come si rimedia che conta) Darei una stella in meno per la porzione del fritto che al prezzo di 18 euro se non con qualche anello di totano in più almeno con qualche verdura insieme che fa volume e inganna almeno lo stomaco ci voleva ...

06/01/2024: Resto sympathique, au cœur de la vieille ville. Personnel accueillant. Ils nous ont servi assez tard à 14h30 alors que d’autres restos nous refusaient. Bon repas.

05/01/2024: Discreta cena nel centro di Monterosso, abbiamo ordinato entrambi le trofie al pesto che erano buone! Al contrario il fritto misto preso di secondo non ci ha sufficiente entusiasmato. Location nulla di che e prezzi nella media.

24/10/2023: We had a great dinner here. The fish dishes are really delicious. The wine recommendation also went well with the food. The restaurant is run by a couple and they are both extremely friendly.

19/10/2023: It was mid afternoon so thoughts again turned to where to go for dinner. Fortunately, Monterosso al Mare has lots of choices. We picked Via Venti because it had great reviews - like many places in town - and was recommended by the people at our hotel. Here are some of the pros and cons: Pros: - The food was excellent. My wife and I had entrees with pasta and seafood…mine was a mix of fish and her’s had mussels. Everything was fresh. We followed those with excellent tiramisu and lemon sorbet. - Service was helpful and cordial if not “friendly”. What helped was personal attention from the owner who kept a watchful eye on things. - Since it was fairly warm, we sat outside at one of several tables near the building which literally gave us a breath of fresh air. - Our bottle of white wine from the region around Cinque Terre was fine - It’s not cheap, but value for the meal was reasonable Cons: - We arrived when it opened at 7 PM and were the first people to be seated. Another person came at 720 PM and some trickled in after that. It actually felt a bit lonely. It’s not necessarily a “con”, but Via Venti needs better marketing. The place is down a quiet alley while a much lesser restaurant 50 feet away but closer to the main walkway had lots of customers. We’d recommend Via Venti for the food…especially if you can find it…and trust your server offers a bit more personality than the one we had.

05/03/2024: Che dire, è stato davvero un piacere cenare qui! Luogo tranquillo,in una baia “un po’ dimenticata” che meriterebbe di esser rivalutata…personale estremamente gentile e competente ,le pietanze proposte più che deliziose! Il pesce è davvero eccellente,cucinato e servito in maniera magistrale,ottimo l’antipasto misto del gambero e la zuppa ( che è estremamente abbondante oltre che sfiziosa! ) Ravioli di astice e branzino buonissimi e fritto misto eccellente,il tutto innaffiato da un perfetto vermentino locale consigliatoci! Non mi resta che ripetere i miei complimenti! Più che consigliato!!!

20/01/2024: Un locale elegante sul lungomare del suggestivo porticciolo, migliorabile nella cura del dettaglio (sala fumatori all’ingresso, muri un po’ rovinati) . Antipasti buoni, specie la tartare di tonno, primi un po’ slegati, mi aspettavo di più dallo spaghetto ai gamberi. Dolci purtroppo non lasciano il segno. Buona selezione di vini, servizio un po’ freddo ma professionale. Prezzo tutto sommato adeguato.

30/03/2024: Our first night in Levanto on our 3 week Italian road trip and the food was incredible! I ordered the octopus and potatoes; my wife ordered the pesto pasta and we were both very happy! The service was great as we got there when it opened and the female waiting staff were very hospitable. It would have been nicer to have a busier restaurant to eat at but I think we got out for dinner too early. Highly recommend to eat at with a lovely ambiance 🎶

01/11/2023: Disappointed with this restaurant. Very basic dishes and very average wine. A nice waitress... Bad value for money! We will not come back...

29/03/2024: Located on one of the streets that leave the main streets of the town, they have typical dishes of the area such as Trofie al Pesto!!!! We ate on the terrace and everything was good. There was no tiramisu left but the panna cotta was 10!!!!

23/03/2024: You enter a narrow street. Everything decorated with good taste and very nice. I recommend. Friendly staff, tasty food! I loved it here!
