06/04/2024: We were immediately brought wine and bread. Then we waited 40 minutes for our order. Of the two oysters, only one was edible, the marinated shrimp turned out to be raw, spaghetti with eggplant and fried squid were more or less normal. The general impression is not pleasant. Therefore, two out of five.

26/03/2024: Not recommended. Food lukewarm, plates cold. No oil, etc. with the salad. The glass bottle of water you paid for is not allowed to be taken with you; you pay just under €50 for it.

07/05/2024: I ate the pasta carbonara, delicious, excellent, I have never eaten so good. The very kind cook, the friendly owner. I recommend it to you. Obviously there is also lots of meat and appetizers!

01/04/2024: Easter.. walk and dinner at "Spina". We sit down, the first dish we request is not available. After a heavy and confusing day, it can happen that there is a lack of products... calmly, we don't go away and opt for something else. But... what was requested by us does not coincide with the dishes received: WITHOUT NOTICE, unrequested dishes arrive due to lack of what was ordered. I understand the problems perhaps due to the holiday season, but if a service and the requested courses are not guaranteed by 9.30pm, wouldn't it be better to close or at least inform customers before ordering?! Sat down to eat one thing and received something completely different, a little more clarity was enough. Sin!

08/02/2024: Ristorante della fame. Sono stata in questo ristorante la sera del 4/2/2024 insieme ad amici. La cena è iniziata con un antipasto frittella di bianchetto tutta cipolla bianca, insalatina ina ina ina di polipo tre pezzetti di polipo ciascuno che non mi è sceso neanche in gola un tentacolino diviso per 4 una sardina a beccafico non fresca e niente più … ma dico io deve mangiare un uccellino? E si che i Siciliani sono amanti della tavola tavola scarsa stavolta dopo un po’ arriva il signor Pauro…. Ma chi lo aveva chiesto? Una pietanza a tavola senza richiesta ! Pauro in brodo …con una pataticchia … Ma che siamo convalescenti? Andiamo al prezzo 120 euro 30 euro a persona … capisco che è festa di Sant Agata ma questa è una truffa …in barba alla Santuzzae meno male che siamo stati raccomandato da Emanuela nome in codice per restare affamati Grazie Emanueluzza Anna

20/01/2024: Che dire? Il signor Vito delizioso, oltre che educatissimo e professionale. Un ambiente ospitale, il cibo...delizioso. Per finire, andare a Catania e non mangiare qui, è solo un'occasione persa. Grazie.

08/04/2024: The restaurant would have closed at 3pm, but at 2.20pm it accepted our reservation anyway. When we arrived at our destination we saw that there was a generic fixed menu, without any particular descriptions. Being in a hurry to leave for Calabria, we asked, instead of the fixed and invariable menu, if it was possible to have just one first course, so as not to weigh us down and leave immediately. The waitress reserved the right to answer, until after asking in the kitchen. A determined "it's not possible" was expressed by her upon returning from the kitchen: Disappointed we moved away from the locole, in which we absolutely did not grasp the ancient and traditional Sicilian Hospitality, which everyone knows and appreciates!

31/03/2024: Ordered Easter lunch to take away. Kind and attentive staff. Very good food, plentiful and with an excellent quality/price ratio. Special mention to the fish caponata, the parmigiana and the swordfish rolls.

I would also place some table centrepieces, to recall the marine or even Sicilian atmosphere matching the dark brown heads on display... but that's just my point of sight! 27/01/2024: My wife and I came by chance, excellent experience... Various pizzas on the menu.. We couldn't decide which one to choose.. Excellent pizzas.. Excellent dough and delicate... We would certainly go back to try the others.. Maybe in the summer... The only thing was it was cold inside the place... then it was fine.

12/11/2023: Good quality pizza for the preparation of the dough and the quality of the ingredients. Fast and attentive service. Slightly high prices for basic pizzas. For those who don't know the history of the place, the entrance on the ground floor might leave you a little perplexed. However, the upper floor, especially the outside, is panoramic and well furnished. The interior is welcoming but perhaps deserves some more attention.

05/01/2024: This is a lovely restaurant which offers a great selection of food.We ate focaccia as a starter,and seafood as a main meal,it was delicious,and it has reasonable prices.We will be back!!! Charmaine(Malta)

10/11/2023: Sehr gutes Essen, perfektes Service. Gesamtes Team sehr zuvorkommend, besonders der Kellner Umberto ist eine Klasse für sich. Lokal sehr empfehlenswert!!
