15/03/2024: I loved this place as soon as I arrived. I felt at home, the welcome from Paola the owner and her collaborators was impeccable, the apartment overlooking the hills of the Tiber Valley, a breathtaking view with the Tiber dam, the fireplace lit, the rooms quiet and clean, the minimal but equipped kitchen. The restaurant with excellent food, care in the service and preparation of each course. I usually struggle to digest it, and this time I really didn't have any problems, I think due to the quality of the raw materials. And then there is what cannot be described: the sounds of nature, the rustling of the trees, the colors of the spring that was about to explode, the atmosphere of the place that mixes tradition with spirituality, reality with magic. I will be back soon.

19/01/2024: Best pizza in Cortona & on our trip! Came here for dinner and drinks, and were extremely impressed! We ordered two pizzas and a bottle of wine- the food was fantastic, well priced and in a cosy atmosphere in the centre of Cortona. Would highly recommend! Total cost was around $35 Euro

14/01/2024: Mitten im Stadtzentrum von Cortona befindet sich in einer kleinen Seitenstaße die Pizzeria mit ein paar Außen- und einigen Innenplätzen. Die Pizza war ausgesprochen gut.

16/12/2023: I found myself with a large group for dinner. I am vegan and, to my very pleasant surprise, they organized a very respectable menu for me. I repeat, I am vegan, not vegetarian, and I ate tasty and tasty dishes from starter to dessert (all excellent). I invited the owner, who was very tense for this test, to include in her menu (of typical Tuscan cuisine, apart from the pizzas) some of the dishes they prepared for me, which have nothing to envy of certain places that call themselves vegan cuisine or they offer themselves by saying they have no problems cooking without any animal derivatives, but instead they give you the usual grilled vegetables. The lady and all the staff were welcoming and very attentive to their guests, so I want to reiterate to the lady that she was very good, and that, for example, her aubergine meatballs with sauce are excellent. Congratulations to everyone for the care taken throughout the evening

17/03/2024: Questo locale, per come lo ricordavo era simbolo di qualità e cura. Tutte cose che si pagavano ma ne valeva la pena. Ottimo pane , decidevi la cottura della carne, salse handmade …. Tutti servizi che non ho più trovato. Abbiamo aspettato un ora per ricevere pietanze non all’altezza di come era una volta. Carne stracotta … qualità bassa a mio avviso…. E dopo un ora di attesa abbiamo dovuto lasciare il tavolo velocemente per fare posto a nuovi clienti! Sicuramente molto guadagno per i gestori ma è così che si perdono i clienti. Soprattutto oggi che hamburger buoni si trovano in svariati ristoranti! Spero per loro che sia stata una serata no …. Per me certamente lo è stata !

05/04/2024: I relied on the photos here on Google where the pizzas look good. Ordered via delivery, the pizza has nothing to do with the photos in the reviews. Never eaten a worse pizza than this. I took a stracciatella and pistachio mortadella pizza. They cooked the mortadella together with the pizza. Everything very greasy. Very salty dough and instead of stracciatella they put something else. I will never order from this pizzeria again. The pizza arrived almost cold but the delivery time was respected.
