03/04/2024: We repeat two days in a row! Our accommodation in Val d'Orcia was located 50 meters away and was recommended to us. Good service, local people and pizzas made in a wood oven. We also tried the pici al ragú, tasty! They have a local craft beer and invite you to homemade limoncello. Thank you!

02/04/2024: Clean and well furnished place, the dishes were all good from starter to dessert. The portions of the fixed menus are inconsistent compared to the à la carte dishes: the gentleman at the table next to us received a more generous first course (à la carte) than the one they brought us for 4 people (we took 4 menus at €40 each) and even the fried food for 4 was really poor (in many restaurants they carry that portion for 1 person). The most annoying thing of the evening, however, was the service. It was the Saturday before Easter and they brought us the dishes at the speed of a fast-food restaurant, then they made us get up 4 times to go into the room behind our table to get the tablecloths to set the table for the next day and as if that wasn't enough at 11 the waiters started complaining to each other because we didn't leave (there was also another table). We were having dinner at a restaurant with people we don't see much to have a quiet chat without anyone having to cook. Honestly, I found it really tasteless.

Friendly and professional staff Good food, pasta (for my taste...I eat al dente), a little overcooked, well-made tripe, cauliflower not perfectly cooked. There would be a 4.5... the only flaw is that they don't inform customers, especially "new" ones, of the presence of a menu of the day.

26/03/2024: While passing through on our way home, we went to this "tavern" for lunch, partly to joke with the name of the place, but it's anything but that. Very nice and familiar location, every detail of the furnishings deserves attention. Spectacular food, best of 3 day trip. We had 2 lasagna and some veal with tuna sauce, spending little, high quality and very generous doses. Very friendly and kind staff. We will definitely be back

23/03/2024: Tonight we ordered 2 takeaway pizzas for 8pm (see photo). As soon as I arrived I saw a nice, clean, quiet place with Neapolitan background music (Pino Daniele the best), the staff immediately available. The pizzas, what can I say to try them both, my wife and I exchanged 1 piece. Well what can I say, as expected, both were excellent. But now we have to go there because if the pizzas are so excellent, let alone the other things. Well done, the next one will definitely take a seat with you.👌👌👌👌👌

We had two mixed grills of meat with a side of potatoes, a divided creme brulee, half a liter of house wine and 2 Tuscan bitters. Everything was very good, the meat was of excellent quality and the creme brulee was also really good. The only flaw was that they made us sit in an almost external room and let's say that the temperature was a little chilly but nothing special
