23/03/2024: Nice place! It's a shame that the owner is very inhospitable especially when the reservations are on Sunday and there are children. Even by calling 2 weeks in advance he tells you that there are no places because he loses out with the children's menu and opts to make you go on Saturday which has few people and paying the children 10 euros for the educational farm in addition to the price of the menu is honestly very money-making! Today some friends of mine also went there to book a communion, they were treated very badly, little availability in displaying the menu, little flexibility for the availability of the rooms, they were dismissed in 0 time, so all things considered, nice place, acceptable food, but the owner zero in ' hospitality.....

12/03/2024: I found myself in this charming baglio for a delicious Sunday lunch with friends who on the occasion surprised me with a cake to celebrate my birthday..😊 Everything at the table was delicious and the service was particularly attentive and precise also because I have an allergy to mushrooms and a person with celiac disease also had lunch with us. The delightful venue, excellent for events. I will definitely go back

07/04/2024: We had dinner at the Tavernetta with my family, ordering pizzas, one of which was gluten-free. The choice of gluten-free pizza was conditioned by the toppings available without contamination, however the dough was good and soft!

06/04/2024: After reading all the good reviews we had to try a'nassa. Maybe our expectations were too high, so we were disappointed. It is literally street food: very fried and fast. We have treid many seafood restaurants in Sicily and this was the least freshest, sadly. Also the smell of the oil was intense and we lost out appetite for more.

06/04/2024: We had high expectations after all the great reviews, which unfortunately weren't fulfilled at all. The calamari tasted creamy because it was grilled for too long at a temperature that was too low. The swordfish pasta tasted extremely fishy - like old fish. The white house wine was also not drinkable. When we were asked how our meal was, we told everything openly and honestly. But the lady asked us what felt like 10 times whether the calamari was fried (we didn't complain about the cooking point). That was a strange way to respond to negative feedback. Especially since we had the feeling that she didn't care and the question was just a trained phrase. We didn't expect a discount or anything else, but a little empathy would have been appropriate, but instead our request was arrogantly dismissed. However, the atmosphere is very pleasant and lively. Everything is clean and seems inviting. The only thing that was very unpleasant was the strong smell of old frying oil. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend A Nassa Seafood.

31/10/2023: Splendid location, the tables on the terrace allow you to see the gulf and the sunset. The food is delicious, we had a catch of the day cooked in a wood oven with pistachios, amazing. Very kind staff, congratulations!

04/04/2024: Although it's called a café, we ate one of the best pasta dishes in all of Italy here last week. The pesto pasta with sausage was perfectly cooked and priced really well and all the staff was really helpful and friendly. If you have the recipe for this please share it 😍

17/03/2024: The set up is 30 euro per person for whatever the menu is of the day is. This for us two was a bottle of wine, 5 different fish each , Big bowl of salad, big basket of bread, Canoli, and a digestive. All the food was fantastic but the customer service was appalling. On a Sunday night in March there was one other couple eating one waiter and the chefs. As soon as the other couple left the waiter started playing on his phone with volume at max, we could hear it over the background music, the other couple were offered a choice of digestive we were just given one. We felt like they really could not be bothered it made a memorable evening for us but, for all the wrong reasons.

14/03/2024: This was probably the best restaurant for fish I’ve ever eaten at. Super fresh, cooked perfectly no fancy sauces to cover the gorgeous various tastes all the fishes served had to offer and believe me, there were more plates served than we could possibly consume. Our server was kind and gave us a lot of attention, his parents are the chefs and they’re amazing. All the food served from local olive oil to super just made canaloni were out of this world. If you doubled the price it would still be a bargain! If you don’t eat at Boomerang you’ve missed the very best Sicily has to offer. The day was spent visiting the archeological park which was unique and wonderful but to end a perfect day and sit down and dine at this very romantic restaurant was the real pleasure of our trip and lovely Selinunte 😋
