06/04/2024: I'm sorry to make a criticism of this structure that I would have liked to enjoy for Easter with voucher number 20240225446302 but we couldn't due to fever Saturday is Easter Sunday we called asking to be able to move the weekend to another date we were told a categorical no without possibility it's true that I hadn't made the association... but I think that a little common sense never hurts... in any case we didn't have a good signal from all the staff, certainly the fever is something else I couldn't have foreseen, in other facilities some time ago moved the dates even though we had to give a difference.... 05/04/2024: MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE AND READ. IRONIC REVIEW: SEVERE BUT FAIR. Rooms: FROM THE PHOTOS beautiful, spacious and spotless (I DON'T KNOW LIVE...). Position: FROM GOOGLE MAPS fantastic position in the middle of the Umbrian scrub and strategic given the many delightful villages nearby (I DON'T LOSE LIVE...). Spa: DA PHOTO has everything you need for beautiful moments of relaxation (I DON'T LOSE LIVE...). Restaurant part one: FROM THE PHOTO the restaurant room is beautiful with terracotta floors, opus testaceum brick columns and exposed stone walls; the windows as far as the eye can see over the Umbrian hills and green slopes are enchanting (I DON'T KNOW LIVE...). Restaurant part two: FROM THE PHOTO both for breakfast and for dinner everything is rich and abundant, ranging from sweet to savory with typical Umbrian products and everything would seem delicious and succulent (I DON'T LOSE LIVE...). Service: in the meantime we should understand what is meant by service but let's leave it at that... OR NOT: together with my wife we ​​decide to book directly by interacting with the structure to spend two nights in this enchanting place (6 and 7 April 2024) on the occasion of the birthday of my wife with half board and also agreeing on two accesses to the spa. Unfortunately, something unexpected happens and for serious family reasons (which I won't write here because they are personal) we have to give up the stay so TWO days before we contact the property by telephone to inform them that (like the game of MONOPOLY) we have ended up on the unexpected events box and we cannot stay with them. Before contacting the property we were obviously well aware of the cancellation policy which (unfortunately, in our case) provided for a charge equal to 50% of the total cost so speaking about it with my wife I told her: "...you'll see that they will understand the situation and we will they will come towards you...". What I meant by "they will come to our aid" was certainly not avoiding the €160 charge but what follows... Let's go back to the phone call to the facility. We call, I think an employee of the facility whose name I don't know answers and we explain the situation to her; she immediately interrupts us reminding us of the cancellation policies and that she can't do anything. We had not asked to avoid the charge, quite the opposite, we RIGHTLY said: we would have been happy to agree new dates with them more or less after a month/month and a half and we would have also paid the entire sum but the employee was adamant and I also say rightly (if she had been an employee she had no decision-making power in the matter) but she could have told us given the family situation that had presented itself to us: "...I can try to ask the owner or the director if she was possible to make an exception..." MORAL OF THE PAPYRUS Cancellation policies exist and it's right that they exist because otherwise it would be like the jungle and everyone (by everyone I mean all the hypothetical customers) would feel they have the right to do anything. I would also find the application of the penalty fair if the structure had suffered real economic damage or not been able to "sell" "my" room to other customers but the structure did not suffer the damage given that I phoned 15 minutes ago personally and I was told that they have ample availability of a single suite but a wide availability of classic and superior rooms (my wife had booked a superior). I hope that in similar situations in the future you can have a little more sensitivity with everyone. I said everything. Good job to all those who work professionally at your facility.
