05/04/2024: I hadn't been back to the Taverna del Torchio for many years. It is always a point of reference for inviting cuisine with an excellent quality/price ratio.
02/04/2024: Good food, average service, excellent cacio e pepe with truffle and scallodito, less good the cockerel with mustard, good tiramisu. Fairly high prices

24/02/2024: I just heard that the restaurant has decided to close at the moment. I'm so sorry, it was a regular stop for us every time we were in the area. The quality, the kindness, the view were so relaxing that we felt like we were at the home of friends. 💛
28/11/2023: Una trattoria vecchia maniera dove fanno da padroni i primi e la carne. Provare le tagliatelle ai funghi che sono eccezionali. Antipasto della casa abbondante e con selezione di affettati, formaggi e bruschette vario e roba non da supermercato.
Ottimo come qualità prezzo.

siamo stati stasera in 4 spinti da buonissime recensioni comprensive di un menù con prezzi lontanissimi dalla realtà.
antipasti 20 euro con salumi stantiii che fanno vergognare l'Umbria intera, formaggi non mangiabili e di quantità minima ( sempre 20 euro) primo e secondi sufficientemente passabili. A 2 passi troverete 2 taverne con una fila interminabile...se volete un consiglio, passate oltre e troverete le bontà della vera Umbria a prezzi più che onesti.
12/10/2023: The people were very friendly and quick to answer any questions. They were very helpful despite us not being great at the language. The environment was good, and the food was excellent.

02/04/2024: We ate on Easter Monday in this very clean little restaurant furnished with modernity, simplicity and good taste. The location is not the best, the restaurant is located in a hamlet of San Gemini, on the road that leads to the village famous for its water and archaeological excavations. The cuisine is essentially based on fish, but it wasn't a problem to serve us fresh black truffles. Really honest prices. Recommended for a quick lunch for those passing through.
23/03/2024: The offer of food, location and service is in line with the expectations conveyed by both the name of the restaurant and the location. However recommended for a frugal meal. In my opinion the value for money is a bit high

16/08/2023: Swimming pool well looked after down to the smallest detail, I must say that with the new management everything has improved, from the new sunbeds, to the umbrellas and above all the lawn is very comfortable.
The only flaw is the hydromassage pool is no longer functional, a real shame.
Well-stocked bar with everything (sandwiches, wraps, fruit, etc.).
19/07/2023: Located on a hill, ventilated and cool. This year (2023) the restaurant part is not operating although there is the possibility of eating something.

13/03/2024: We had a divine meal on the way back from Perugia to Rome. Everyone was very friendly, and we were offered an all-inclusive meal plan. Excellent starters, first courses, second courses and side dishes, and generous portions. The house wine can be worked on, but it still didn't ruin a wonderful experience. They also managed to satisfy the request of a vegetarian boy and a celiac.
Absolutely recommended!!!
19/11/2023: Personale gentile e disponibile siamo in 9 e ordiniamo due pizze una bistecca e 6 giropizza.
Considerando che è sabato e il locale è pieno i piatti arrivano in tempi giusti e devo dire che le pizze erano veramente buone . Tornero' per assaggiare i primi e i secondi che ho visto passare in altri tavoli dall' aspetto molto invitante

03/12/2023: Menù ricercato, che lascia comunque spazio al gusto. Ottima scelta se si vuole gustare un aperitivo, con ampia scelta di cocktail fatti ad opera d'arte.. notevole anche la vasta selezione di gin disponibili. Location accogliente e piacevole in ogni stagione dell'anno. Professionalità assoluta e grande capacità ricettiva.
Da non sottovalutare l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Sicuramente il nostro posto preferito!
02/12/2023: Ottimo locale, personale molto cortese, la cucina ottima con piatti molto gustosi e ben preparati. Buona selezione di vini e per finire un'ampia scelta di cocktail.
