18/02/2024: Abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante per un pranzo in famiglia. Non avevamo avvertito che abbiamo due cani ( taglia media buonissimi), cosa tra l’altro non obbligatoria. Alla vista dei cani il proprietario del ristorante non ci permesso di accedere al nostro tavolo dicendoci che c’erano già altri due cani e che quindi non poteva farci entrare. Non ha provato neanche a trovare una soluzione, malgrado il nostro tavolo fosse distante da quello degli altri cani. Inoltre mi ha rinfacciato il fatto che non lo avevo neppure avvisato che mia madre aveva delle difficoltà a fare le scale ciò nonostante invece di darle un tavolo a lei comodo l’ha obbligata a fare le scale.
1 i cani possono per legge accedere ai ristoranti senza limitazioni salvo quelle comunicate da parte del gestore al momento della prenotazione. A noi nessuno ha chiesto nulla.
2 non avendo mai mangiato prima in questo ristorante come facevo a sapere che c’erano le scale?
La ristorazione è prima di tutto accoglienza cosa che in questo ristorante evidentemente non e’ chiara.

01/10/2023: L'accueil très sympathique et la cuisine typiquement régionale font de petit (par la taille) restaurant un lieu très agréable quand on séjourne au château dont il fait partie. Les "primi piatti" sont excellents et suffiraient sans doute pour un diner, surtou accompagnés d'une entrée (antipasto) partagée pour deux ou alors d'un dessert. Le décor est agréable au coeur de la campagne toscane.

22/03/2024: My partner and I stopped at this bar a few mornings ago for breakfast. We ordered a pastry and two savory croissants. While we were waiting for the heated savory croissants, my partner took a drink and the pastry to sit at a table outside, not even having time to place part of the breakfast on the table before 3/4 pigeons pounced on the croissants. A waitress present there sees the scene and notices my partner in difficulty, so she takes the initiative and goes to the owner to ask if they could intervene (I presume by refunding or offering €1.30 worth of croissants) and is told that the bar can't do anything . I go back to the counter to get another pastry and the owner doesn't say a word to me about what happened, visually pretending nothing happened. The waitress returns to our table to apologize again for what happened.
We want to ONLY THANK the waitress with short brown hair who worried about us and apologized at least 3 times, there should be more people in the public like this girl, congratulations for her empathy and professionalism.
I am a bartender, and in my bar, the owner would have at least apologized to the customers, given that providing for the internal and external space of the place is the responsibility of the staff. The pigeons must be removed and customers must be told not to feed them, then more humility and more courtesy.
And we gave the half-eaten pastry to the dog to the dog, the food is not wasted, but neither is it given to the pigeons near a bar/restaurant. :)

28/01/2024: From the venue to the manager to the dishes offered, everything is top quality. The location is inviting, almost an occasional discovery in the tangle of streets in the center. The manager is affable, courteous, helpful and patient. The cuisine is proudly linked to Pisan traditions, varied, well prepared and presented. Amazing desserts with a very good liquor trolley. More than honest account. A plus of no small importance: each table has a power socket to charge your mobile phone. Truly remarkable customer attention.

Excellent appetizer with aubergine parmigiana, very good stew. Good tiramisu. Pleasant environment. Medium-high price but the quality is appropriate.

31/03/2024: Mha. Honestly, I went to this pizzeria more out of challenge than anything else, reading all the reviews from first to last. All these negative reviews seem more like revenge by unlucky pizza chefs than anything else. The pizza is excellent, well cooked and well garnished, well cooked base, not those fake Neapolitan pizzas that also have stew since the real Neapolitan pizza has to rise for two days and here in Pisa NOBODY does that, no hassle about the number of drinks requests, pleasant service with Giulia who is the utmost friendliness and helpfulness.... I repeat, in my opinion the negative reviews are of pizzerias of envious failures who are in the area. I'm Giuseppe Biancofiore, I don't need to hide who I am.
11/03/2024: Dinner with friends, on the side we were celebrating a birthday, mine. 27 people, 27 mouths who learned about the existence of pizzApp for the first time, had spoken well about it to us. The evening starts off well, the first pizzas arrive immediately, the place wasn't very full so there wasn't too much rush nor the effort of having to satisfy everyone. The first pizzas are eaten and appreciated, after a good hour we look for the waiter's gaze to have more pizzas. The first attempts are in vain, the two room operators almost seem to snub us but this takes second place. They notice us and we manage to ask for more pizza, there must have been 5 more. The youngest waitress accepts the order and leaves, after a handful of seconds the older operator (curly, black hair) approaches again with somewhat opinionated to ask us if we wanted anything else because the bakery was closing; to which I allow myself to ask for another couple of pizzas (I repeat, there were 27 of us, obviously I wouldn't have eaten them alone). From there the frost begins. The lady got everything wrong that a reception operator could have said. When asked for a Cerrettiera Pizza" the lady replies "but look, I've already brought it!!" How the mother responds to her son when he asks for Nutella and replies "nooo because you didn't eat it all". Although this blessed waxer had never actually arrived at our table, it seemed appropriate and even kind to me
Reply "ma'am, it was obviously good, it was appreciated".
He replies by saying that "if you don't finish the pizzas you will have to pay for them" as one responds to kids with money counted in their pockets. Another quote (I don't remember it honestly) made me come out in a completely natural way "ma'am, if you want, we'll leave" noticing your absolute deviation and annoyance at our requests.
As if all this wasn't enough, at 11.00 pm they started to lift the chairs at the tables in front, sweep the floor, and at around 11.20 pm they even started to remove the plates from under people's mouths. A rudeness never seen before, unheard of.
Annoyed, we ate the cake on a porch, with the downpour underway, we felt less in awe.
I invite the owners to take this into account, it is embarrassing especially considering that since that day 27 mouths have spoken poorly of that place where *I want to specify* you eat a good pizza, but certainly don't have good moments.
