Super black crostini (I was skeptical but once I tried them I wouldn't stop eating them), excellent white wild boar ragout (me with pici), wild boar stew, also delicious! Intimate and well-kept environment. The lady who cooked for us and served the dishes described the dishes with passion and was also very affable. Highly recommended

25/03/2024: Haven’t stayed there, just used daily entrance. Nice pools and spa facilities. The staff were too friendly and helpful. Massage was amazing. Lunch was not an amazing experience, because they were under staff. It takes time for them to clean the tables, get the orders, etc. Moving to buffet style or having more staff in lunch area would be helpful.

20/03/2024: I was here with my partner to celebrate my birthday. The spa is very nice and spacious without being overly crowded. The prices are high, but quite commensurate with the services offered, even if they could do better. Having arrived late and having taken the €95 package, they gave us an "aperitif". Well, if that's the aperitif, they'd better not offer it and they'll make a better impression. Not drinking, I asked for a juice and they told me it wasn't included in the price and I had to pay for it separately. A squeeze gentlemen!!!! Not to mention the food, two appetizers defrosted and served very badly with valerian leaves that had withered for hours and hours to decorate. In short, the aperitif to be avoided like the plague. For the rest beautiful spa. Ah, the floor is very slippery. You risk breaking your back with every step. Let's say that marble does not go well with water and slippers.

03/04/2024: We stayed there for 2 nights. The farmhouse is located in a very quiet area surrounded by greenery 2 minutes from the center of Pienza, also very convenient for getting around the Val d'Orcia! We immediately noticed how clean the room was! Everything was very neat and very shiny, something you don't find everywhere! The staff very kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast and dinner too! I would have nothing to complain about! We will definitely be back!

25/03/2024: We had lunch in this cute place after the spa. Very friendly staff and excellent dishes. If I go back to the spa I know where to go back to eat. I highly recommend it

23/01/2024: I hadn't been there for years and, for goodness sake, I don't recommend the place itself, for a pleasant break or to satisfy the palate, on the contrary! However, I found it too expensive: of course, everything increases and no one demands free products but if you exaggerate then you're not there... a sandwich and a small pizza cannot cost 2.70 euros each, just like (1 ) marron glaces 2 euros, as if they were gold!! As for the sales assistant, she wasn't rude but was a little on her side, it seemed to me. In essence, it is certainly worth a visit but everything must be described, pros and cons. Greetings.

17/02/2024: This will be the fourth year my family will be spending a month in the area and hands down this is one of our favorites. The food is always delicious,seasonal and inventive. The staff is beyond friendly and attentive and the view cant be beaten. I’m counting down the days until they open..

15/11/2023: Beautiful mountain scenery, warm service, and many guests from afar. Especially, the fried Italian zucchini and delicious Italian desserts left the deepest impression on me!

28/01/2024: Il ristorante è in posizione strategica proprio lungo la strada che scende da Siena alla Val d'Orcia e si parcheggia comodamente. L'ambiente è caldo e familiare come una vecchia trattoria. Servizio gentile e veloce; il mio compagno ha preso dei crostoni, io dei pici alle briciole ed erano entrambi buoni! Un quartino di vino, acqua e caffè... 25 euro in due e la nostra maratona fotografica nel senese è ripartita!

31/03/2024: I just left the restaurant. Elegant and discreet environment, staff of rare kindness and delicious dishes: bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and basil, spaghetti with artichokes and mint, tagliatelle with baked potatoes and coffee with cantucci biscuits. All excellent, served in a truly pleasant and relaxing environment. Highly recommended

02/03/2024: Oh well, Siena is the driest city in the world after Limassol and Beirut....but 50 cents for a glass of cinnamon water is theft. The pastas aren't bad....but the bar is too shabby for Sienese people with stinky noses!

07/04/2024: We have long known the hospitality of the Alcide Restaurant, even during receptions in the elegantly decorated Gardenia Room. Excellent welcome from all the staff, especially for the Easter lunch, a lovely celebration enlivened by good food and careful organisation.
