25/04/2024: Great experience! Small but welcoming, almost familiar environment we can say. Particular and refined cuisine, you can try various specialties and my group and I found everything very good from the mixed appetizers, to the first courses of pasta and meat. The desserts are also very good!

21/02/2024: Small and welcoming environment, but apart from the hanging antelope head there isn't much of Ethiopia. The choice of dishes is limited, lots of lentils and meat. Berberé is used artfully, it gives an excellent spicy 'boost' to the meats. Very good value for money

28/01/2024: Average hotel in terms of room and services, the rooms could use some sprucing up, excellent breakfast, we also frequent the restaurant often, but this last time we were a little disappointed, menu a little changed, desserts different than last time in flavor and composition, good presentation of the dishes, excellent starter, first course and second course with meat, but I repeat, a few months ago it was much better I would have given it 5/5, discreet service especially from the waiter, a little better from the waitresses of room, environment of the new room very interesting, elegant, reserved, very fast service. The qualities for improvement are all there. I will gladly return, in the hope of finding better service from the staff, and desserts like a few months ago.

31/03/2024: My experience at this restaurant was absolutely delightful. The extremely attentive staff and the welcome of Davide, the owner, made our lunch pleasant. The food was exceptional, with a variety of starters that delighted our taste buds. Personally, I loved the appetizers, from the battered cheese stick to the sandwich with Pezzente sausage, roasted peppers and smoked provola cheese sauce. As a first course, the spaghettoni with anchovies from Catanbrico, crusco pepper and provolone from Monaco: an explosion of flavour. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

17/02/2024: An elegant and refined venue that offers cutting-edge dishes of excellent quality. The service is taken care of down to the smallest detail without leaving anything to chance. The strong point is the cuisine characterized by dishes elaborated with experiments that are a paradise for the palate. I celebrated my wedding vows which was a success. I am also a regular customer and every time I leave the table satisfied and with the desire to return as soon as possible. Congratulations to the owner Davide and all the staff.

23/01/2024: Wonderful staff...excellant restaurant with unbeatable sunset... Beautiful hotel although arriving by sea from Capri was a bad start For what is the top hotel in the area they have no one meeting you from ferries to help with luggage as the top hotels do in nearby Capri. In fact, there is no help available anywhere to help with luggage and the very long walk with two large suitcases on uneven ground then with lots of steps up to vehicle pickup level is very difficult indeed for older people. Local government should sort this out. Not hotel’s fault. The general manager told me it is a big problem and that the hotel have difficulties with local authorities about this. General manager is a lovely guy. This is a very well run hotel which is absolutely beautiful. They have the most fabulous terrace where breakfast is served. Complimentary cocktails served by the pool were a lovely touch. We will definitely return.

19/01/2024: We stayed for 2 weeks in Sept 2017. First room they put us in wasn't to our liking - but they moved us to a room higher up and away from the noise of the terrace. Food was good - table services for dinner; buffet for breakfast. If you want to swim in the sea access to the public area is five mins - just make sure you turn left at the bottom, go through the gate and down the metal/wooden steps. Otherwise, on the right is Spiagga la Marinella, which is private and you pay . Update: you can almost always get access to public beaches in Italy - just do a bit of research first. If you are like me and only want to go down for a swim, then paying for access and bed isn't worth for me.
